I remember that LA Westchester game - it was in Trenton. 52 points and I promise you he didn't break a sweat.

I saw LeBron play twice in HS.

The most amazing HS basketball player I have ever seen. He was an NBA player his Sophomore year.

OSU... I saying that back then too. But sooo many people doubted me and thought I was crazy for having a high school player as my favorite player. I remember time after time my friends said "lets wait until he plays in the McDonald game. Lets wait until he plays in the summer league. Oh he can't shoot. Preseason games don't count. In that very first game vs the Kings. Some friends were still going doubting him.

Haha I was the same way jeebs. My homies were on Carmelo Anthony though. One of my homies prep teams played them and Melo was just a beast - he didn't need college either from a game standpoint - he just needed exposure.

^ There were enough people saying Melo should be the #1 pick after he lead Cuse to the title. You just don't see fully developed, highly skilled scorers like him at 18 y/o anymore. Durant is pretty much it, though even he was superior to Melo as a freshman. It's sad that Texas team underachieved so much but Durant was a far more dominant college player than Melo and that's really saying something.

That texas team just wasn't good at all. I think that's why Durant dominated.

                  Re: The LeBron James Thread

LeBron said his 2007 ECF vs Detroit was his best series in his career.

"I had like 38-8-8. But people said I didn't do enough. I should have had 40-10-10."

My question, what is your favorite LeBron James series and Playoff game?

I agree with LeBron on that series being his best ever.

However I think last year game 6 vs Boston was his best game ever. No one game represents the word "Control" more than that game.

was that Piston series the one where he scored like 20+ straight in the 4th and OT or something?
I remember him being awesome that playoff run.

and I the word I would use for the game 6 against Boston is focus, but control is pretty good as well.

LeBron lying his *** off. Nobody anywhere on the planet said LeBron should've did more that series especially after that epic game he went off. Not one person on earth besides Skip Bayless had a negative thing to say about Bron for that whole run. His cast caught ALL the hell for that playoff run and rightfully so cause they were awful that year. That was during the time period where LeBron could have took a dump on the White House lawn and still been beloved.

That's easy, Game 6 of the 2011 NBA Finals.

He scored 29 of his team's final 30 points. It's one of the most spectacular basketball moments I've ever witnessed and for me, it far eclipses what he did against Boston last year. And that doesn't mean the Boston performance wasn't great, it's just... that run to end the game in Detroit was something I'm not sure I've ever seen before.

He began by cutting up a vaunted Detroit defense for hammer dunks late in the 4th quarter of a see-saw game. But they wouldn't all come that easily. Detroit began locking down once again, then LeBron starts hitting wild fallaways from each side of the court, then that behind-the-back to triple with a defender's arm virtually down his throat. Then the fallaway three from the left wing... it was just stunning. In all honesty, it was one of the few times in my life, if not the time, where I honestly had zero doubt or wonder as to whether a player would be able to make the game-winning play. The minute the Cavs gained possession, I knew there was literally no way he was not going to be able to score (regarding his eventual game-winning layup). Just unbelievable. I've never seen someone that unstoppable. The Pistons were forcing him to take the worst shots possible and he was just letting them rain.
