Yeah its kind of hard to compare Duncans 5 out of championships to Lebrons 1 out of 3.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Is he lying though? Me thinks not:
During his media session on Wednesday LeBron said Duncan has to be considered on top of that list.
“Probably one of the best players to ever play the game of basketball,” he said of Duncan. “If I just look at the last 15 years, he’s probably been the most consistent, most dominant player that we’ve had as far as 15 years all together. He’s won four titles, multiple All Stars, MVP, and so on and so on.
“I think He doesn’t get a lot of recognition because he’s not flashy like a lot of guys are. He’s not jumping over people and high flying and doing the things that attracts people to the game. But I think true basketball, true IQ people, players know how great he is. What else can you say?”#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I'm gonna go ahead and be the guy that brings this up and accept the heat I may take for it, if anyone were to respond, but I'm heavily confused... and would definitely like for someone to clarify.
• Game 1: LeBron James, 18 points (7/16 FG) 18 rebounds 10 assists in a loss; is the butt of all jokes, even some posters here saying, it's NBA Finals time, he should be doing much better than that, blah blah blah.
• Game 2: LeBron James, 17 points (7/17 FG; including a stretch in which he was 2/12) 8 rebounds, 7 assists, in a win and not a single word, except the block ha.
Why is it that when he fails, he's put under a microscope, with comparisons flying out and some jump for joy at his short comings, but when he succeeds, we (in general) are silent, as if nothing happened. I'm not saying we should praise the man every time the Heat win, and I would hope that people understand teams win championships and not players, but why show up when he's unsuccessful but not the opposite? Sounds like reverse-bandwagoning to me hahaComment

Its simply the "No no no no no....YEAH!" bad shot effect on a bigger scale.Comment

It's definitely not near as bad now as it was last year, and it was even worse the year before that, but it's still around.. I know people who say they hate LeBron and when they give reasons why it's for things that every player they love currently, or players loved in the past, are doing or have done..Comment

I'm sure there's a bit of haters being quieted as well, but doesn't have to always be that way.Comment

Serious question here for those of you who follow Miami.. Apparently there is recent rumors involving the Bobcats trading the #4 pick in the draft (and I'm assuming something else) for Chris Bosh..
I originally thought this was a horrible idea but this cap space would allow Miami to possibly sign some of the quality big men on this years free agent list..
Some of the names: Carl Landry, Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Nikola Pekovic, JJ Hickson... And the of course Josh Smith, Dwight Howard, and Andrew Bynum, all of which they could not afford..
Does Miami try and make this move depending on what the Bobcats offer? If they move Bosh and lose contracts of guys like James Jones, maybe Miller, idk who else is expiring without looking would they have the cap room to sign maybe two of those quality bigs?? And in turn grab a top 5 lottery pic??
A guy in the draft thread seems to think the Cavs are taking McLemore number 1 (he said he knows someone within the organization)... With Orlando and Washington neither needing a big man this give Miami a slim chance at actually landing Noel.. Although that's highly unlikely they could very well end up with Otto Portor or Vic Oladipo..
I actually like Oladipo.. He play style is basically Wade 2.0 coming out of Marquette.. He will give them a great punch off the bench with his athletic play, hardcore defense, and ability to get out and run..
What do you guys think? Good or bad idea? I'm still not sold because there are so many "what-ifs" on which players the Heat could actually add.. But is there really a legit chance that they could trade Bosh and actually get better?Comment

Or they could go a different route and draft Zeller.. Use the cap space to sign one of those power forwards like Millsap or Landry or Hickson and maybe add Matt Barnes or Jarrett Jack to the mix.. Maybe lots of possibilities..Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
When Bosh is on, him and Lebron together are great. If they could get Jefferson though, it'd be a great move. I wouldn't do it for those other names and rooks are hit or miss it seems nowadays.#WashedGamerComment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
What team could compete with them for the next 4 or so years?
