Re: The LeBron James Thread
Quit trolling LeBron dude. Find where I said that. Go ahead. This isn't about two damn years ago. This is about this year. You said with another loss as if this year would count against him. There are literally two years in LeBron's playoff career where you can cut up that blame pie and give him the biggest slice because he didn't play well. Peyton not so much. However this isn't the football forum so Peyton Manning's name has no business being here in the first place. You're reaching, just for a reason to troll LeBron with this.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
no one in the right mind is going to blame lebron unless he just doesn't show up at all tonight. bosh is nothing more than antawn jamison imo and wade is just not wade. they have no big guys to rebound or bang down low. however, it is another great regular season not match by the postseason success. that's all i'm saying.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
oh stop it, i rooted the heat on last season. lebron deserved to get a ring. going by your post though, u sound as though lebron had one bad postseason run. the man has won 4 mvps with 1 title to show. lebron has disappeared countless times in critical games. i'm just saying his regular season has just not match his postseason (i.e., peyton manning).Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I really think LeBron is going to go bananas game 7. No question he's been the best player on both sides of the floor out of every game. For those who are hating on him, it doesn't matter at the end of the day. It's a challenge to be the best, and I hate to admit that because personally I think he's over rated at times. But every ga, me he's been carrying the team. Not Wade, or Bosh. And its sad that we got to continue to place the blame on him. But the truth is he bought this upon himself, as far as the pressure and intensity way back in the summer of 2011.
So I don't feel bad, for him when he fails because he fed into what others think about him. Naturally I just think he's a great player who can play with the best. I don't think he's another Jordan or even surpass what Jordan has done. It's like Magic said in an interview when they would practice for the dream team. Jordan demanded the team to play at their best and they did, but when he saw Jordan play it was just a whole different level beyond playing your greatest. LeBron has that capabilitiy, but its defiantly not in that category of MJ. This goes for the leauge stars today also. Melo, Durant, and Kobe. None of these guys can play at that level of quality MJ did. It's just not happening in this time of basketball.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Taking this back a couple of hundred pages, I've taken exception to the final supporting cast in Cleveland taking the level of blame they did... personally I think what we are seeing right now proves the point I was making. Like that cast of characters, this year's Heat team is made up of individuals that are better than what they are collectively showing recently. In short, when James goes H.A.M. it turns everyone else around him into spot up shooters who rarely get into rhythm. Now the Heat are made up of players that can fill that role much better than the Cavs were. But generally, their success has been with a much more efficient James, spreading the ball, and Wade being able to penetrate and cause the overall defense to adjust more than Le-Iso.
Don't take this as a James criticism. The fact of the matter is that Bosh can't do much against Hibbert and Wade is aging right before our eyes (yeah he's hurt, but it's more than that). There's a reason more scoring weight is falling on James' shoulders. But it'd be in their best interest to continue to try to keep him playing efficiently and draw up plays to force guys like Ray Allen, Battier, Miller, Cole, etc. to be more involved. At the very least, it'd help keep the defense on their toes. If we're going to make any comparisons to Jordan, the one I'd like to make is the lack of success he had playing the ISO game and how everyone said he'd never be a winner with that style. The triangle offense contributed to his success... simplifying it even more, an offense that let him have the freedom to pick his spots while keeping the other players engaged helped. The ISO offense does nothing but fill the stat sheet and give the impression of being let down by teammates when they aren't given the proper chance to step up like they need to.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
this thread reminds me of an old joke
how many Packer fans does it take to screw in a light bulb?
2...
one to screw in the bulb and one to talk about how good the old one was...
MJ is done playing in the NBA.
No one in the recent history of this thread has said that LeBron is better than MJ or will be better than him, but some people just need to keep telling us what we already know... MJ is better and always will be... thanks for the reminder again because who knows what could have happened if it wasn't for you telling me again how great MJ was and how LeBron will never be as good.
In closing MJ is better than LeBron
Thank youComment

If Bosh & Wade were pulling their weight, while the rest of the role players were underperforming, then maybe we could talk about Bron possibly suppressing some other players talent.
Right now, it doesn't really make sense...Bron has tried to get that team in rhythm almost to a fault. If Indy makes a few cheapies at the basket in Game 5, the Heat are probably in too big of a hole to even get that "Cleveland days" LeBron performance...Comment
