One thing I do disagree with is that he's still I his own head...I think that's just LeBron James...that's how he operates...you could call it flaw...the same way a score first superstar may take some plain bad shots at the worst times, he as a playmaker scopes way too long to make a play sometimes...I think that's just the way he is...
It is who he is... and he's pretty damn good. Getting past it would make him better, but he may never completely get past it. He's one of the best players I've ever seen as it is, so it's not like it's really holding him back.

But I just don't think he lacks lateral quickness.. Is he as quick side-to-side as the quickest guys in the league?? No not at all, I'm not saying he has elite lateral quickness.. But at the same time it's not like it's bad enough for me to call it a flaw or an issue..

For a SF/PF position player he still as above average lateral quickness.

I think all this pressure for him to develop a post game, and to need to size/strength to defend inside and lead his team in rebounds has hindered his all-around athleticism overall... Not so much his speed or jumping, but his quickness and explosiveness...

But in my opinion ever asking him to do all that was a mistake all along.
I'm not sure anyone is calling it a flaw. Like I said, it's great for his size but not great in general considering who he often has to guard.

But with that said, he doesn't need it to guard these guys bc he is so long and athletic. He can give space when needed and still close out well. To call it a flaw would be like calling Shaq's lack of a 3 point shot a flaw. It doesn't stop him from doing everything he needs to do defensively.

Has anyone seen that LeBron isn't wearing his new sneakers?

Nike's most important active basketball player is hardly ever wearing the latest version of shoes that bear his name.

I think the 10's will probably be best shoe of all LeBron's. That sneaker was before the most comfortable on the court. I'm thinking about buying another pair.

Apparently after he wears the 11's his toes look like this:

THIS WAS NOT POSTED TO START ****, SO PLEASE GET OFF IT.

Watching LBJ makes me remember the Jordan days and LBJ is so great it's easy for me to say sometimes, "yeah I think he's better then Jordan was". Then every now and then somebody does something cool like this and I say to myself, "Nah, probably not."

Again, this isn't a MJ vs LBJ post or anything, just a cool compilation that somebody made and this was the only place I could think to post it because of how dominant they both are/were.

Wow..thanks for posting this. Might be my new favorite MJ video. Look, I enjoy watching LBJ as much as anyone since MJ left the game (the 1998 version). LBJ is the most complete player since MJ and might one day surpass him…but I will never have the 'emotional' attachment to a player like I did MJ. When he, Magic, Bird, Thomas, Ewing, Hakeem, King, Malone, Stockton, 'Nique, Barkley were running the game it was special. Watching that video brings back a flood of memories…LBJ may one day be the greatest, but MJ will always be one of a kind. MJ has a ton of personal flaws, but as an NBA player and competitor he was darn near perfect…the toughest of competitors, but he played with such a joy that he was like a little kid out there.

Anybody see the article about LeBron being a little jealous that Durant gets to take 30 shots a game? Basically said he's playing so well that he wonders how it would feel to get to take more shots, and what his numbers would look like.. Hopefully that isn't a sign he's leaving.

And I wouldn't read into that comment. Don't think he meant anything by it. I believe he said himself he doesn't really have the mentality to do that even if he was allowed to.

LeBron off night after acting like he needed a big one.. He needs to not worry about people saying he's "coasting" or whatever, and I think he realized that after they got off to the rough start tonight. Just do your thing Bron and worry about those big number games come playoff time.

Miami's defense looks down this season. Ready for them to get to the all star break and come back rested and focused.
