    Re: The LeBron James Thread

Thank God for this thread.... Now what? Seems like the Heat need 40+ to win this series. As a LeBron fan, I would of loved the 3-peat. But Spurs were just flat out better than the Heat.

I'd like to see what happen this off season. I feel you can't talk about any moves until we find out what the Heat are going to do.

Seeing this thread is like coming home to an old friend.

An irrational, double talking, flip- flopping, overreacting old friend. Good to see you again buddy!

Nope. James is headed to Boston to play alongside Melo, Love, and Rondo.

Allow me to sum up the next 50+ pages of this thread in a couple quotes:

"This would ruin the league and I'd need to forget basketball was ever a thing because of this travesty. LBJ is a coward because he wants to take less money, team up with some other talented guys to win a title."

"His teams were built the wrong way!"

"Michael NEVER did this, and James is a pansy with no mental toughness and his titles are meaningless because there was no competition and he steamrolled everyone."

Prepare for the salt guys...there will be a lot of it

                      Re: The LeBron James Thread

                      You forgot...

"How was LeBron supposed to win playing with Cleveland 2.0?"

"LeBron needs better teammates wherever he decides to go."

"If LeBron had won, he'd have surpassed Jordan by coming back from down 3-1."

"It's not LeBron's fault Dwyane Wade is trash now."

"Yeah, at the time Spo was coaching great, but he regressed in the Finals. He needed to switch his lineups sooner. I'd love to see what LeBron could do with a coach like Doc or Pop or someone."

Oh and of course, since he lost and the "haters" have some ammo now, conveniently...

"Ughh, why does ESPN always have to compare LeBron to Jordan. You can't compare across eras."

If I'm LBJ I'm bailing. No point guard, D-Wade is gonna be one year older and slower, no interior post defense at the rim, nobody young and talented, no real depth.

I don't know where he'll go but I think it will be one of the 29 other teams outside of Miami

I think his best chance to win is still the Heat. They need to upgrade the front court and find a serviceable point guard to replace Chalmers. Also need to sign some serviceable role players in the frontcourt.

Everyone acts like Wade is toast but he played very well against the Pacers. He just needs to reinvent his game and become a lights out mid-range shooter, kind of like Jordan did towards the end of his career (not saying he's Jordan but he has that kind of work ethic).

Bosh is the wild card. I think Pat Riley would love to find a way to get rid of him and bring in Carmelo, Kevin Love, etc. Long shot for sure but they have to upgrade the frontcourt somehow.

Do the Pelicans have enough cap to get LeBron?

If not, what are all the teams that could sign him?
