Re: The LeBron James Thread
Now LeBron should have questions about Granger and his health. That is what has gotten him frustrated right now. He needs to know that this guy can play games for him and take those minutes off while helping the team.
But these moves can't hurt Miami. The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

Cavs are saying that the letter was taken down three years ago. If this is true, I expect someone to get fired.
Gilbert's letter was posted to the Cavs website immediately after James departed for the Heat in free agency four years ago. But after it's deletion from cavs.com, it continued to exist as a stagnant, archived page on the old content management system.
In other words, the URL that hosted Gilbert's letter was only available on an Internet search, almost like a screenshot. It has not been on the Cavs' official site, again, for some time.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
In the end, I'm sure alot of folks felt that way but I think its a bit of an overstatement to imply intention. I think the business angle makes a lot more sense all things considered. He acted like someone who wanted to make absolutely certain that the Miami deal would go down without any hiccups.Comment

I was wondering the same thing. I mean... I like McBob, I really do but if these are the main moves Riley could pull off... Very very meh moves, especially GrangerComment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
lmao the hyperbole is real guys. I'm sure he "rubbed it in" the fans faces on purpose because he has soooo much reason to do so, right? seriously guys why would he even want to do that? he's gone on record by saying that he loved the cleveland fans, it's the fans that want to try and make it seem like a player is supposed to play for his hometown or else he's a "traitor" because basketball needs to have narratives like it's some sort of drama. the gilbert letter was unnecessary, burning jerseys was unnecessary, and of course "the decision" was unnecessary but it never warranted the response that it got and still gets to this day from many.Comment

There was a lot of talk, but no one ever did anything but get pissed then depressed. No burning. I still have my stuff. My friends all have their stuff.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
The response it got? You mean the two guys who burned his jersey yet ESPN seems to think the entire city did it?

Re: The LeBron James Thread
LeBron definitely deserves ridicule for his part of the Decision. Especially when he already knew he was going to the Heat anyway but carried on with the dog and pony show.Too Old To Game Club

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I hear you, but I'm not going to act like they're one and the same.
To say what Gilbert did was anywhere near what LeBron did, is pure lunacy. AND THAT'S OKAY TO POINT IT OUT.
Before certain people start to call me out, I honestly don't care about it anymore. However, it's situations like this where I feel like I have to say something.
To each his own on the matter...Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Gilbert was an idiot, but honestly the fans/media/everything else was probably a little worse than he was.
I understand he went about leaving the wrong way and people being upset/bitter about that, but after all he was a free agent. You had people and media sources out there acting like he was Cleveland property or something, like moving to a different team was against the law or some forbidden sin lol.
