        That's because the Wizards are awful and PG is the closest thing to the QB when it comes to randomly equating individual play to wins. Lin's numbers have been incredible but (ignoring all the other side variables of course) if the Knicks weren't winning it wouldn't be a story.

        Wall hasn't progressed the way people thought he would this year but he has progressed, it just hasn't translated into more wins for the team so there's nothing to talk about. As well as Kyrie's playing, if the Cavs have a terrible start next year his name won't be mentioned much either.

          The best true point guard in the next half-decade will be Rajon Rondo easily; I see Rubio making good strides and he'll be an All-Star before that 5-year time span I belive.

          Overall, either Westbrook, Rose or D-Will will be in contention for the best PG, and they will form the Top 3. CP3 will be in the mix too.

          The way Jeremy Lin is playing is no joke, and even though I'm a huge fan, I admit the sample size is still too small to cast predictions for coming seasons. He has huge promise and will be an All-Star sooner rather than later, especially considering his level of play and popularity.

          Ty Lawson and Kyle Lowry will continue to improve, and will find themselves in the All-Star teams soon enough, with guys like Parker and Nash increasing in age.

          Also, let's not forget John Wall and Brandon Jennings; I also really like Stephen Curry a lot.

          ===

          There are and will be so many talented PGs, so I may have forgotten some.

            Each point guard has different responsibilities which makes it hard to rank them competitively. Ball double teams, zone defenses, and restrictions on hand-checking make it easier than ever to penetrate the lane. These modern point men are obliged to be scorers and slashers.

              Well, Rose will be the best player playing the position, but as far as pure PGs go, I'd say it'll prolly be Rondo. Maybe Rubio.

                If Rondo could develop a jumpshot lol this is a tough one.

                I'm kinda biased tho. Derrick Rose will be a beast, if he stays away from injuries. All derrick Rose needs is better vision... And he's complete

                  Russell Westbrook
                  He's top 5 now while playing recklessly, when he gets under control and develops more consistent jumpshot he'll be untouchable

                      and I still like Ty Lawson, though I doubt he'll reach the level of Rose, Wall, Irving, Westbrook, etc. I still think he'll be an All-Star point guard, and he's still the fastest player in the league, end to end.

                                How to chuck up 30 shots per game, while you have a Top 5 player in the league on your team.
