This. The Lakers don't need an all-star PG. They just need someone like Fisher. However, they most certainly need Bynum. He's the big body that the Heat have absolutely no chance of being able to defend. There's no way the Heat can stop Gasol, Odom, and Bynum. If it's just Gasol and Odom, it's much more do-able.

Re: Chris Paul wants out?
I think that's more reasonable. LA would want Okafor and NOH would want to get rid of Oak's contractComment

Re: Chris Paul wants out?
STAT
FELTON
MOSGOV
because they were signed as FA. & can't be traded until DEC 15TH.
Everyone else can be traded including the players we got in the D-LEE trade..Comment

Re: Chris Paul wants out?
That doesn't make it incorrect. Who are the Knicks going to offer that will make a team trade them Chris Paul?Comment

Re: Chris Paul wants out?
As for what the Knicks can offer they can offer a couple of pieces to start such as Gallo/Chandler or Randolph/Chandler though I think Gallo/Randolph will be want they would probably want. You'll probably would have to add Curry & his expiring, plus I would think a Toney Douglas & picks for CP3 & Okafer.
Personally I'm not sure If I make a deal which would probably have to include both Gallo & AR together.Last edited by bigfnjoe96; 07-23-2010, 02:18 PM.Comment

Re: Chris Paul wants out?
re: paul and bynum
i'm not saying paul isn't better than bynum, that much is clear. however, bynum's value to the lakers vs. paul's perceived value to them is the discrepancy. the sheer lack of quality centers in the nba spikes bynum's value tremendously, while the amount of quality point guards lessens paul's. again, i consider him a top 3 point guard, likely the best, but a top big man trumps a top point guard, especially in the lakers' case. phil jackson has never had, nor seemed to desire, a great point guard. we've seen what he can do with quality bigs. why change what works when no one has stopped it thus far?xbox gt - bmorerep87

Re: Chris Paul wants out?
Knew this was coming. Hopefully this is like when Kobe was asking for a trade. And the Hornets get off their *** and get him some real help. But with 2 yrs on his contract there's no way I trade him this year. Atleast not at the beginning of this year. You looking at the Chair MAN!
Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.Comment
