    Re: Colangelo slams Bosh

That's one of the main reasons the Thunder were so good last year.

Last summer a reporter called Durant out on his D and he proceeded to greatly improve that aspect of his game...

"I play this game as hard as I can every time I step on the court," Bosh said. "On the back of my jersey it says 'Bosh' ... The Boshes are hard workers. We have a lot of pride in what we do, in our jobs and in life."
      Love that quote from Bosh.

But Colangelo is right, and whether Bosh wants to delude himself or not isn't our fault. Whether he likes it or not isn't our fault either. I watched those games. Raptors fans, and there are many, saw those games. And I'm sure the bulk of them appreciated his amazing run over the first 50-plus games and can also understand why a guy takes it easy after being enervated by yet another middling season amongst a group of players who can't defend or rebound. You're still safer wearing a Bosh jersey in Toronto than you are wearing a Vince Carter(notes) jersey.

This wasn't a tank job. And it certainly wasn't every game. Maybe not even every other game. This was just Chris at about 85 percent of what we saw from him earlier that season (and his contributions agree with that percentage), and about 90 percent of what we've seen from him for his career. This wasn't Carter. It wasn't even Pau Gasol(notes) in his last year with the Grizzlies. But Bosh wasn't going as hard in March. Especially on defense.

And when you act the way you've acted? Soliciting free-agent suggestions over Twitter on April 30 even though you're still technically a member of the Toronto Raptors until July 1? Following Dwyane Wade around North America like a tagalong little brother? The Hamptons nonsense? The All-Star admission? Just being in the same picture as LeBron James, who has become public enemy No. 1?

I believe the only person who thinks Chris didn't "quit" is Chris himself.

Anywho the main thing in this matter is Colangelo patting himself on the back for getting Chris such stellar support. It's how Colangelo thought he was doing it by calling Chris out for not being a franchise player. Both of those things make me

            Turkoglu speaks:

Bryan Colangelo expressed his thoughts. Chris Bosh had his say. It was just a matter of time before we heard from Hedo Turkoglu.

Speaking to FOX Sports Arizona in a phone interview from Turkey, the newest Phoenix Sun took aim at his former team and general manager.

''People have to realize something is wrong with that organization and nobody wants to go there any more,'' Turkoglu said. ''It's not just the players who see this.''

Turkoglu's remarks were sparked by Colangelo's allegations that former Raptors teammate Chris Bosh ''checked out'' late last season and chose not to play some of the Raptors' final games.

''I just don't understand why you would say these things,'' Turkoglu said. ''Like I said, that organization has problems.''

The Raptors fell from a playoff position at the all-star break into ninth place in the Eastern Conference at the end of the season. In the off-season that followed, Bosh and former Cleveland superstar LeBron James joined Dwyane Wade in Miami as free agents.

''It's funny that people will talk behind your back,'' Turkoglu said of Colangelo. ''If he was feeling this way, why not have the guts to say it during the season? Why not say it to Chris? Now that Chris has left, it's not nice to say those things.

''Chris has been a franchise player and he did a lot of good things for the Raptors,'' he added. ''I don't think Chris is the type of player to quit on his teammates.''

Turkoglu left Toronto after an up-and-down injury-plagued season, the first in a US$53-million, five-year deal. Unhappy in his role with the Raptors, he never seemed to settle in Toronto and by season's end; he told a Turkish television station he wanted to be traded.

On July 17, Turkoglu was traded to the Suns for Leandro Barbosa and Dwayne Jones.

''I don't have to talk any more about it for me because it's past now,'' Turkoglu told FOX Sports Arizona. ''I don't care any more what people say about me because I've got other things to worry about.''

                Re: Colangelo slams Bosh

In all honesty, Colangelo probably should've gone after Turk and not Bosh in the media.

Turk 100% quit. While I think Bosh did too, he quit for like half a season, but it didn't seem like it was everygame and he also still produced.

Turk was an absolute piece of **** on the floor, came into camp out of shap, fat and had an abysmal season.
