I think Gallo can be a great sixth man, that may end up being a role he really excels in. Though I'm sure Gallo and Pringles have much higher hopes.

Still would need a damn big (or three) though.

Not really because the Nuggets want no part of Deng's contract.

I agree, but it seems like all the rumors are true and that even Leon Rose is telling teams that Melo will only agree to the extension with the Knicks.

I did this 3 team trade using the Trade Machine: Hope it happens
Bulls Receive Nuggets Receive Lakers Receive
F Carmelo Anthony F James Johnson C Omer Asik
F Al Harrington G Ronnie Brewer
              1.7 M Trade Exception F Luol Deng
              Chicago's 1st rounder (2011)
              Charlotte's 1st rounder (2012) (Is Protected till 2016)
              LA's 2012 1st rounder
(Al Harrington being traded was good for the Nuggets because is overpaid.)

And dont tell me the Knicks win a ring w/ Gallo or Chandler at the 4 or the 2.
With the way the offense is, yes I think you could win a ring with Gallo at the 2. I'd have to think about the defense part of the equation, but I can see Gallo at the 2.

That tells me all i need to know about what you know about the Knicks

Donnie Walsh has been a god send and has done what Isiah and the fool before him could not do and that is bring the Knicks under the cap.

So James did not come to the Knicks, guess what he was never going to because he and the other 2 sorted this out 3 years ago.

The Melo love for the Knicks is different and people in the know here in NY who are close to his reps say he wants NY with Stat in the worst way.

I rather take my chances in the summer then giving up Gallo and Fields or either one.

If Melo does not sign with us in the summer then we move on and try and use those pieces to trade for a big guy like Marc Gasol or Jordan

Only a delusional GM or you would give up anything more then what is being mentioned.

2 months to go before the year is over and we can have a great shot at signing him and keeping Fields and Gallo who we can either use to trade for a big or keep to make the team that much better

The Nuggets screwed this up by dragging it out this long and losing the leverage

The closer the 24th of this month comes the less they will get in return.

                    Is simple
I never said I would give up Gallo or Fields I said I wouldn't be surprised if they were involved in the deal. No need to compare me to a delusional GM. You need to calm down.

The Wolves get ripped in this trade.

NY gets a Gasol-to-LA type of deal if this goes through. All they have to give up is Chandler to get a top ten player? Ehh.
Because they have a logjam at Brewer's position (thank Kahn for that), they get Curry's huge expiring and Randolph has hardly gotten the chance to prove anything yet.

The report from ESPN said that Minny wouldn't take that deal.

Curry's expiring is useless for them since it's easier to work with the cap space they have (easier to get a team to dump salary with cap space instead of convincing them to take salary back).

Brewer should be worth more than Randolph at this stage since he actually produces. It doesn't matter that Randolph hasn't proved anything, he has had a shot with two teams and hasn't really done much to back the hype. Why take that on, give up space, Brewer, and a pick?

It makes no sense for the Wolves. If they have to get rid of the logjam (Brewer is getting a healthy 25 MPG so it seems like he's not the one who's jammed up), trade him for Randolph separately or a first. Adding that other stuff is completely useless.

Good, terrible deal for them. They have to get more in this three team trade since they are doing all the facilitating.

Edit: This link says that Curry would be heading to Denver instead. Wolves would trade Brewer and a first for Randolph, which still isn't right as they acknowledge.

I'm pretty sure Melo to the Knicks/Nets have been reported as done deals about 10 times this season by these "experts."

You just said that the last time you trusted a Knicks GM Lebron went to Miami

You are taking a shot at Walsh who has done nothing but make the knicks relevant again.
