Hahaha. Yeah I love him man. He just seems very likable and his play is even more likable.

Although Matt Barnes is almost right up there too, he's fit in seamlessly.

I've said it a lot before, but if this LA team doesn't at least get to the conference finals they should all give up their paychecks this year.

Absolutely no excuses. Even with an injury or two, they have so much talent/complimentary pieces/"best player in the world"/best coach in the world... I mean really they better be playing late into the playoffs.

I will laugh in Kobe's face and all of his fans if he doesn't get his team there.

its a ring or bust. the only way we dont win it all is if Bynum cannot play come playoff time. thats my only worry.

on top of that, the only team i fear is Boston and we need Bynum to beat them. were too deep and too big. Miami is not beating the Celtics in my eyes.

Could you describe this play any more blandly? Worst broadcast crew in the NBA, just ahead of Portland's.

Denver looks darn impressive without their best big men in KMart/Nene/Birdman. It's honestly pretty weird.

Chancey is so overrated though, I was guilty of it myself in the past [I think most of it was due to the AI/Billups debate]. He doesn't scare me at all in a match up. The more and more I've watched of him over the past three years.. all he does is spot up or jack up three's. He directs the offense sure, but most of the time it just ends up in Melo's hands for a post up or ISO anyway. He's slow, is a semi chucker and really doesn't have a post game anymore.

OKC is gonna be there when it counts, Westbrook has taken it to the next level.

Dallas doesn't scare me as much as OKC does, but they've got just enough for me to mention them.

SA has all the players in place with the system and coach, just have to make sure Timmay and Manu are healthy. RJ looks a lot better this year thanks to Pop's training. Parker looks 100% healthy. Splitter should help them out inside too.

Billups post game was one of the things i really liked about his game which is sad that he doesnt go to it anymore. its what made the Pistons tough to defend. now that i think of it, all he does now is shoot 3's lol.

i figure with Karl back and eventually they will get healthy, and if by miracle Melo stays that newfound belief in team with give the team a purpose to compete like 2 years ago. thats alot of IF's though.

and for some reason i see OKC slightly regressing due to the fact they wont be sneaking up on people anymore

And yet....all that doesn't matter. The Lakers will win. I'd honestly bet my bank account on it if I could (or if it was some sort of limb, to make money off it)

I don't know about the Lakers 3-peating.

I mean I'd definitely pick them as the favorites and pick them if I had a gun to my head, but I just don't see everything falling into place for them 3 years in a row (4 if you consider their '08 trip to the Finals). It's hard enough to get one chip, never mind back to back.

I just feel that eventually they're going to have a big injury or a team will finally step up in the West and beat them in the playoffs (looking at Portland, Dallas, San Antonio and maybe OKC, but that's doubtful unless they get more size at the deadline or with February Buyout Guy X).

There's also the possibility Boston, Miami or Orlando beats them in the Finals. Orlando is iffy unless they plan on somehow getting rid of Vince or the .1% chance he finally "gets it" like we've all been waiting for him to do his whole effing career, but there's still the chance they can beat the Lakers as well.
