Re: 11/1-11/7 Game Discussion Thread
Vince's injury prone nature is something totally separate from his being soft.
D. Wade and Crash Wallace are injury prone too, but no reasonable person would ever accuse them of being soft.
Yep, its not just avoiding contact on shots, but not bodying up on the perimeter or challenging bigger players at rim on D, or going after rebounds in traffic.Vince is soft too. Prime Vince that had his unworldly hops would try and dunk on people. but even then he didn't like contact that much. Vince now pretty much avoids contact at all costs.
Also, any time he takes even a little bit of contact, he's down like he just got shot. That's soft to me.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: 11/1-11/7 Game Discussion Thread
Would you guys cut that out
I'm not even sure if you're kidding or not
First I read in this thread that Dragic>Nash
Now I'm reading bench>starters
Hedo/Nash are killin em but yeah their bench always plays with "energy". They aren't anywhere near better than the starters though.Comment

I think it's time for another "What's YOUR definition of "Soft" Thread since it's about that time of the year for one.#RespectTheCultureComment

T-Will on the "Flagrant" Foul on Lebron last night:
In otherwords, put an end to the showboating. Of course it didn't really work since the Heat then went on a 8-0 run afterwards, I do applaud the fact that he seemed to be the only one on the team to take a stand on it. It was a hard, clean foul and not a flagrant like it was called last night."When people are going to the hole and throwing behind-the-back and dunking and stuff like that, you have to do something about that,"
Now, if Lebron had been in the air and then Terrence bumped him like that, then I'd have no problem with the league fining/suspending him because of it.
EDIT: More Quotes
T-Will: "At the end of the day I’m a New Jersey Nets basketball player and you have to put your foot down somehow in a basketball game. It’s nothing against LeBron, but at the end of the day I’m a basketball player. Falling in the stands is a little much. It wasn’t me trying hurt nobody. I’m trying to play basketball and make a basketball play.""I would say somebody doesn’t want to do something and you ask somebody to do it. But nobody wants to raise their hand. So I guess I raised my hand first. But whatever, I got a flagrant for it, which was a little too much."Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 11-07-2010, 07:33 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 11/1-11/7 Game Discussion Thread
It was borderline flagrant, so I'm not mad they called it.
When you're running full speed like that, that kind of contact is pretty dangerous.
Either way, I'm glad people aren't afraid to get "physical" without taking cheap shots.Comment
