Then he leaves Ray wide open 2 times in a row

Then he jumps out of bounds on defense like, how can you block or contest a shot like that man? wow

Yeah i know he has no D right... but thats why he shouldnt have been in there
The problem on Rays dunk was that Taj Gibson didn't do anything but stick like glue to Davis. When Korver got picked off by the screen Taj needed to sink at a better angle to protect the basket. Also whoever was guarding the ball let a pass go through the middle of the paint.

It wasn't all on Korver. That is what team defense is and Chicago basically got out coached with bad player positioning. Funny considering the coach used to coach for Boston.

D-Rose isn't a closer. Two instances this season he's been forced to try and carry the load late in games. Against the Thunder, and tonight against the Celtics. Both games the opposing teams pulled away with their... closers.

For example, Russel Westbrook is a great scoring guard. Every bit the talent Derrick Rose is. But at the end of games, who's taking the bulk of the shots? Durant.

Oh, and both Melo and Griffin are playing like beast right now. Melo was just on Blake down low.

Edit: We also hear about how athletic Blake is, which he is, but aren't Josh Smith, Lamar Oden, and Amare every bit as athletic?

It's mind blowing to have both the Hornets and Saints good at the same time isn't it lol

Yeah but they didnt tonight anyway thats the point... Korver was worthless tonight and stayed in too long

No closer = losses at the end of close games against good teams with closers.
What do you mean what would Boozer change?? Was you not watching the game?? Let me help you out then. Did you see how KG was basically just playing centerfield on the Gibson/Rose pick and roll?? He couldn't dare try and play off like that with Boozer on the court cause Boozer knocks down that 15 to 18 footer in his sleep. That alone would have opened up the lane for Rose to make something happen. That play where KG contested the Rose layup and got the offensive foul after the miss. Again if he is playing off like that a simple pass to Boozer and you have an open 12 footer that Boozer will knock down. See the difference??

Aside from that Boozer is a man you can dump the ball down to on the block and will get you buckets and draw double teams. That means more open shots for Deng and Korver.

Indeed it is. If LSU can take down Bama tomorrow, it'll be the best weekend since February 4th.

I see them not executing some things Thibbs is telling them to do.. Ive seen it a few times in different games where they come off of a timeout and turn it over immediately.

Maybe they just arent very familiar yet but being a perimeter team isnt going to cut it

Yeah but it's easier to make ridiculous claims without looking at details than it is to analyze things in-depth.

LSU is about to get rolled. For the sake of the athletes LSU brings in, Les Miles needs to be sent packing.

The comparison isn't close to the same. Durant can take a shot off a screen, double screen, in the post etc.....

Rose is a dribble drive attack player. He creates shots. Durant takes shots off of organized plays or Westbrooks dribble drives.

Rose is the creator. He needs more finishers.

You and I are on the same page, you just highlighted my point. Everything you just said, I agree with. Hence the reason I think the Bulls should've picked up Melo.

You act like a PG can't be a closer.

Steve Nash was among the best in the league in late-game situations just a few years ago. Those Phoenix teams did fine in close games. Was Nash not a closer too?

Odom couldn't even dream of being the athlete Griffin is. Odom has always been more skill than athlete. They aren't close to one another as an athlete by no means.

Josh and a pre knee injury Amare are similar levels of athlete but you also have to remember Blake is bigger than both of them. He is a legit 250 to 260 pounds and gets off the ground like a guard.

If the Bulls ultimate goal is to get bounced from the playoffs every year, and at best, reaching the conference finals(Which wont happen with the Celtics, Heat, and Magic in the conference), then yes, Rose can be the closer.
