Good move insulting the intelligence of a senior moderator for no reason, lol.

I don't see how his comment is unintelligent. By and large, NBA players don't track statistics as the game is ongoing. However, there's really, really good chance they know what's happening when it's as insane as Indiana's 3rd quarter. Maybe McRoberts only knew his team had hit most of their shots in the third and not all of them. Maybe he knew they were 20-20 and felt like the team was so freaking hot he thought it was destiny that they'd end up 21-21.

You're right, I don't see why he wouldn't shoot it. I wish it'd gone in. I also would have been fine if he ate it and the quarter ended at 20-20. I just don't think the idea of a team securing a perfect quarter when leading by 30 is the most least intelligent idea ever.

It means nothing, nice to have. As I said you're up by 38, it would have been a nice feat to have as a team. If you can't comprehend, what can I do.

Again I said it was an unintelligent comment based on the fact that NBA players don't keep track of stats like that. No way would a player ever think of not shooting that shot for such a stupid stat milestone either. A coach could not have a player who wouldn't shoot that on the court. Even 38 point leads dissapear (Sacto v. Chicago last year). Calling McRoberts out on that makes no sense in my basketball world. I can't understand how anyone else who follows the game could see it any other way.

Yep...the atmoshpere was terrible for long periods of that game. Post the half time break and half the seats were empty for 5 mins.

MVP calibre players should be playing in front of electric atmosphere / jam packed arenas non stop. LBJ in Cleveland was insane nightly...LBJ in Miami just feels flat.

Let me go on record here and say that if the Heat win a couple...and the whole "wow" factor wears off...they'll be the first championship team to not even get close to selling out after they win it.

Hang on, they could barely sell out half the arena after winning it last time...

Bron and Wade in a market where few people cares = disaster for the NBA.

Side note: NO ONE ever call them "the Big Three" again PLEASE.

Paul Milsap abused Chris Bosh all night...Bosh is a 8 to 12th rank power forward. Nothing more. NO MORE "Big 3" talk please.

Then I gave you the reason why I think that this is the same criticism and weakness that the Cavs had.

You said wait until the playoffs....

All I originally said was the guy has showed with his style, can still get far into the playoffs. In fact, into the Finals with a bunch of inadequate support and inept coaching.

So I'm going to wait to see how he now reacts with adequate help once he gets into the playoffs.

Obviously everyone watching LBJ isn't going to work. If you think that's all Miami's been doing all season I think you're exaggerating, a lot or you're just not watching closely.

They haven't been a cohesive unit yet but I've seen beautiful ball movement from them in the half court, and actually earlier tonight when they had a 22 point lead, they were moving it around pretty well.

Cleveland suffered because there wasn't any threat on the floor except for James, this was especially magnified in the post season. Even with that said there were a ton of games where the ball movement was superb, but people tend to gloss over that and just say that it's James and everyone watching. Sure that happened in the playoffs, but that goes back to the fact that his teammates were not producing. That's when James would revert into 'let me do something, get out of the way'.

We rid people that can't handle the discussion of basketball out of here. That's it. Respect other's opinions as you would want your's respected and that's it.

Anyway, my post was more of a sarcastic post than a serious one but on the Internet obviously got lost. I understand the game and I understand no one is checking stats. However, it still would have been a nice feat to have. That's all I meant. I blame McRoberts because well, he's the one that took it.

I'm not really a knicks or bulls fan, but the more I watch heat home games it would have been way more exciting to watch if Wade or LBJ went to one of those places.

The more I watch the hornets the more i'm impressed, it really seems like a total team effort unless it's late in the game then CP3 takes over.

The Heat are pathetically soft on the interior and every team with an above average PG, i.e most good teams in the NBA, will eat them up night in and night out. Unless the Heat trade for a real big and let Bosh be soft on the outside of the paint like he wants to, they won't go very far.
