    As Stacey King said earlier, it's the Joakim Noah show! This is why I don't want to trade him for Carmelo. He leads the NBA in rebounds, gets almost two blocks a game and will drop around 15 points. Plus all the other intangibles that he brings. Alright, enough of my love for Joakim.

    As far as Deng, he could be all star but consistency is key. It's good to see he has expanded his shooting distance.

      Deng has always been consistent.....ly hurt.

      To me he's the missing piece to a potentially EC championship caliber team.

      I'm also liking what I see from Asik. He has the potential to be a pretty good bigman. He's very athletic and mobile for his size. I'm am very impressed with the product the Bulls are cultivating.

          they really should play him there permanently. Marvin should bring his behind off the bench.

          if im the Thunder and Hawks, i would look into picking up Erick Dampier now that the Rockets will not pick him up.

          LMAO @ the packed airport for Iverson's arrival in Turkey. i dont know why but its just funny to me.

          i hope Monta Ellis isnt out long for GS. that was a real awkward landing. he has been playing great so far.

            The Bulls really aren't much more than what the Utah Jazz have been the last couple of years. The only difference now is that (a) the Lakers don't stand in their way anymore, and (b) they go from just another talented team in the deep West to a weaker conference where they're basically guaranteed a 3-4 seed and at least one gimme warmup round.

              I don't really think the east is the weaker conference anymore. It's evened up a bit. Boston/Orlando/Miami are all threats now, maybe even Chicago. I agree with the west being deeper though.

                As much as I want to disagree with that statement, I can't really argue it.

                I mean Milsap is pretty much Noah, I mean I guess..... I can't really say who's better.

                Other than that here's a comparison talent wise at least.

                Rose=Williams
                Deng=AK47
                Noah=Milsap
                Okur=Taj Gibson
                CJ Watson=CJ Miles

                  Man I'd say Gibson is Milsap more than Noah. Plus you didn't put Boozer in the equation.

                  IMO Noah is in a class on his own. Not saying he's better than Milsap but he is in my mind the 2nd best center in the league.

                  Now, if someway, somehow, the Bulls land a legit starting two guard everything changes.

                  Noah
                  Boozer
                  Deng
                  X
                  Rose

                  X player changes everything, if they're able to get him while keeping the core intact.

                    Re: 11/8-11/14 Game Discussion Thread

                    I was more comparing their talent, not necessarily their styles.

                    I didn't mention Booz since he plays for both. We are comparing 2009-2010 Utah with 2010-2011 Chicago right?

                    Rose=Williams
                    Brewer or Korver = Brewer or Korver
                    Deng= AK47
                    Boozer= Boozer
                    Noah= Millsap
                    Gibson= Okur
                    CJ Watson= CJ Miles
                    Bogans=Wes Matthews
                    Asik= Frensesko

                    etc. etc.

                    So basically the discussion centers around Noah's impact.

                      My mistake... getting late. Yeah but this all depends on how you rate the impact of each player. Some will say Deng's offensive scoring outweighs AK's defenese... etc.

                      No doubt both teams are so close that's it is difficult to say which is/was better. IMO the Noah factor is big enough to give the edge to the Bulls but I've may been drinking too much Joakim kool aid.

                        Noah does seem pretty legit plus he is taller than Millsap. So that is a difference, maybe even a major difference between the two teams.

                        Like I said I really wanted to disagree but in the end I actually can't argue it.

                          Nah its not kool-aid, the kid is a legit star. I think his increased bulk will make him more durable and a true star center. I even think he has one or two more levels of advancement in his ability. I really think he has the work ethic to continue to work hard and make that ugly *** jumper lethal( for a center).

                              Tyson Chandler was huge last night against the Celts

                              Dallas needs Roddy B back soon, and for Caron to step up, and they can contend for the SW division
