I wish the nba would get rid of the "marquee games only" for thursdays. How the hell are we supposed to live off just two basketball games in a night. Thats ridiculous

The best thing about him is his FG% is rising and the guy makes free throws.

Lately I've been watching a lot of Raptors games, including the one on right now against Houston and I don't care what people say, the Raptors really aren't THAT bad.

I won't lie, I thought they'd be terrible this year as well, but they're proving me wrong. The team hustles, plays within the offense, has good chemistry and they actually don't have that bad of a roster IMO. Yes they do have some terrible contracts, but the players themselves aren't bad.

Kleiza is surprisingly solid, Derozan continues to improve, Calderon is playing at the level he was in '06/'07, and Sonny Weems is playing great right now filling in for Barbosa, just to name a few players.

I know this team doesn't play the best defense, but they play hard so that kind of helps cover that weakness.

They still need that franchise player like a Kobe, LeBron, Durant, etc. but if they ever do get that in the next few years, I think this team could be nice. They still need more defense/size as well, but regardless I think they have a decent team in place right now.

I just wish they'd trade Bargnani.

Meh. On any given night the worst team could be either Toronto, Minnesota or the Clippers.

Who is worse than Toronto?

Philly has been missing Iggy.. but other than that I don't see many other teams worse than the Raptors. So I think they do deserve to be considered "bad" to "terrible".

Minny makes a case for worst team just because they suck on both ends of the floor.

If Beasley isn't hitting jumpers, he's not doing much else. Same thing basically with Love, although he is obviously an animal on the glass.

As far as defense goes, they don't have many defensive minded players outside of Brewer, Darko and Tolliver.

At least Toronto can get out in transition and try to outscore you.

Clippers at some point have to finish with a better record than Minny, they just have to.

I'm proud of the Thunder right now. Playing way above their heads. Ibaka is steadily progressing, and given a year or two more, he'll be the Thunders version of Joakim Noah. Albeit, more talented, and possibly even better.

westbrook's control of the game in this fourth quarter is awful. he is chucking terrible shot after terrible shot, it's clear that without durant, their late-game offense can not function with any efficiency.

Well, you already mentioned Philly, Minny and the Clippers. Those are 3, although I do like the Clippers roster more than the Raps since Griffin, Gordon, Kaman and possibly Aminu are nice.

I think the Raptors are on an even level with the Bobcats, Cavs and Wizards and could even be better than those teams. I also personally think they're better than Detroit, even though the Pistons are a win up on them.

Now they definitely aren't better than many teams in the West and would more than likely get eaten alive in that conference, but even still I don't think they are as bad as a lot of us thought they would be. They might even be able to steal an 8 seed.

I think I could be holding them in little higher regard than I should though because of close, competitive games against the Heat, Lakers and a win over Orlando, all on the road.

This. It's irritating. Anyone who's claimed Westbrook is better than Durant needs to watch this game. This is when closers earn their checks.
