It legit feels like Game 7 of the Finals.

WKNR, the local ESPN radio station, is already doing their pregame.

This game vs. Game 7 of NBA finals. I honestly would have a double take on which game I would be more intrigued by.

Game 7 by far for me. It being the 3rd game 7 in the Finals in my lifetime ( I was 4 when the Knicks Rockets played, so I don't know if I should count that) and the last two NBA champions playing for the title. Then combined that with the names on the floor: Bryant, Gasol, Odom, Bynum, Artest is always interesting.Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Garnett and I'll just throw in Rasheed since he is always ready to do something crazy.

This game I am only really intrigued by the 1st quarter and the 4th quarter if the game is close.

Are people hoping Lebron is completely rattled and has a miserable game and loses? Or would people like to see him use all the hate as motivation and have a really special game?

I'd be more worried about Juwan Howard going after someone after a beer hits the court. But I wouldn't be surprised if something happens, not necessarily LeBron in the stands but something from the stands onto the court.

I'm hoping for the latter, but that Cleveland ends up winning.

LOL I think this is the first time in a while that collectively, 90% of the NBA fan base is rooting for the demise of one player.

Usually it's half and half, or one team's opposition and SOLELY them.
Now it's *almost* everyone (except Miami fans) vs LeBron. This is excellent.

Especially a mega-star this talented for something not having to do with off-court behavior (the only example of that being Kobe)... pretty crazy. I'll be tuning in for sure.

LOL @ Rose's tweet... good stuff.

                                http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/etick...1201/Cleveland

Long story but worth the read IMO...

CLEVELAND -- There is a burly, angry man with a Chief Wahoo tattoo on the inside of his left forearm, and he knows I work for ESPN. That makes me the devil. We are standing inside the Cleveland Cavaliers locker room not long after their first game without LeBron James. The guy's name is Scott Raab, and besides being a native Clevelander, he's also one of America's best writers. His current project? A book that is part recount of James' breakup with the town and part meditation on the misery that comes with loving this place and its teams. Except he doesn't call him James. He calls him The Whore of Akron. You obviously see what's coming next.

He accosts me for my company's role in "The Decision" -- I actually understand his anger, though I won't say that to his face -- and I tell him what he can do to himself. He likes this answer, which is as Cleveland as his rage at the four letters on my press pass. Raab motions me over to the side of the locker room and digs around in his backpack until he finds it, safe in a plastic bag: a ticket stub. It's from the 1964 NFL Championship Game -- the last title the city won. He passes it to me carefully. Section 7, Row Z, Seat 19. Carrying this stub doesn't make him strange. It makes him a Cleveland sports fan.
