This game vs. Game 7 of NBA finals. I honestly would have a double take on which game I would be more intrigued by.Comment

This game I am only really intrigued by the 1st quarter and the 4th quarter if the game is close."Ma'am I don't make the rules up. I just think them up and write em down". - Cartman

Re: 11/29-12/5 Game Discussion Thread
Are people hoping Lebron is completely rattled and has a miserable game and loses? Or would people like to see him use all the hate as motivation and have a really special game?Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: 11/29-12/5 Game Discussion Thread
I'd be more worried about Juwan Howard going after someone after a beer hits the court. But I wouldn't be surprised if something happens, not necessarily LeBron in the stands but something from the stands onto the court.

From K.C. Johnson Twitter, who is the Chicago Tribune Bulls beat writer:
Originally posted by KCJHOOPDRose on whether he will watch LeBron's return to Cleveland: "I got my second season of Dexter to watch."
Big-ups to Rose for STILL not kissing his ***! Love this kid's mentality. In his Chicago south-side mentality, he really wanted to say, “**** that mutha****a! I can ball just like him.”I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm XComment

Re: 11/29-12/5 Game Discussion Thread
LOL I think this is the first time in a while that collectively, 90% of the NBA fan base is rooting for the demise of one player.
Usually it's half and half, or one team's opposition and SOLELY them.
Now it's *almost* everyone (except Miami fans) vs LeBron. This is excellent.Comment

Long story but worth the read IMO...
CLEVELAND -- There is a burly, angry man with a Chief Wahoo tattoo on the inside of his left forearm, and he knows I work for ESPN. That makes me the devil. We are standing inside the Cleveland Cavaliers locker room not long after their first game without LeBron James. The guy's name is Scott Raab, and besides being a native Clevelander, he's also one of America's best writers. His current project? A book that is part recount of James' breakup with the town and part meditation on the misery that comes with loving this place and its teams. Except he doesn't call him James. He calls him The Whore of Akron. You obviously see what's coming next.
He accosts me for my company's role in "The Decision" -- I actually understand his anger, though I won't say that to his face -- and I tell him what he can do to himself. He likes this answer, which is as Cleveland as his rage at the four letters on my press pass. Raab motions me over to the side of the locker room and digs around in his backpack until he finds it, safe in a plastic bag: a ticket stub. It's from the 1964 NFL Championship Game -- the last title the city won. He passes it to me carefully. Section 7, Row Z, Seat 19. Carrying this stub doesn't make him strange. It makes him a Cleveland sports fan.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
