Depends on what you want from your PG. Myself, I want one that passes first so I'm gonna take PG A. If you want one who can do it all, take PG D. PG B is probably the best, as he can score, pass, steal, and has a low turnover number.

But, really, before making a choice, I'd like to know the shooting percentages for them.

Point Guard B, hands down for me.

more steals, less turnovers than the others. if nothing else, he's creating more possessions for his team.

This. Player B also has the second best FG%, the best 3P% and the best FT% out of all four guys.

I like PG C. Hes has a good amount of assists an only about a turnover more then PG B. Hes also scoring 6 more pts then PG B. Would be nice if you added FG %.

edit: Looks like I choose Deron Williams who I think is the best anyways so I'm happy with my pick.

            A - 14/4
            B - 10/2
            C - 9/3
            D - 9/4

A has the better assist/turnover ratio.

I thought about putting the FG% on there but its skewed from someone being proficient at shooting threes. In other words, the better you are at shooting 3s, your FG% will typically go down since you will be shooting more threes. I gave more consideration to listing the 3 pt FG% than overall FG%. But that can be a little skewed also depending on how good the other players on your team are.

i'll take point guard D... not sure if i'm free from bias though as i already knew there was only 1 point guard in the league averaging 24/8 so it wasn't a true taste test for me...

Re: Which is the better stat line of these PGs

OK, I did a little computation multiplying each assist by two, since thats what the bulk of them are. Its not precise but its a reasonable estimation without having the precise numbers. And even if you did have the specific numbers, weighing 3 pt assists arent necessarily a refelction of better skill at passing. With that in mind, I added the ppg from scoring and ppg coming from assists (again using 2 pts per assist). This is what the numbers are for the two stats most directly linked to scoring (ie ppg and assists per game).

                      PG A: 38.8
                      PG B: 36.4
                      PG C: 40.8
                      PG D: 41.2

Depends if you want the PG who is gonna score a little more, go with C. If you want the best all around it's B. Although it's hard to argue with the shooting %s of B.

Anyway, give me D. His ceiling is the highest, seeing as though he's the youngest.

D impacts scoring just as much as C even when you consider both the points coming from assists and scoring.
