lol, I've already been through this with you. People putting Rondo in the elite or top 5 is pushing it a lot. Top 10, sure. There's people putting him Top 5 of all time.....talk about laughable.

The whole PG A,B,C,and D thing should have never been used IMO. We all knew who they was as soon as we saw the stats. The shooting percentages should have been used as well though. If we are just going by the stats and I'm including all the stats it is easily CP3. His shooting percentages this year are on a Steve Nash like level and when you throw in the defense, 3 steals a night, and the low turnovers he is pretty far ahead stat wise.

The OP really could have been added to the PG thread we already have.

          B. IMO every turnover is like the reverse of an assist. So if you have two more turnovers than someone with two fewer assists, it basically balances out. And on top of that, the steals make up for assists as well.

Also...cuz I know that it's CP3 without even looking it up.

Well not exactly, because not every turnover leads to a basket. You give the opponent an extra possession, which you obviously want to minimize.

But still it's like in football, turnovers are bad becuase they have the ball now instead of you.

So Rondo is the reason Ray Allen and Paul Pierce only missed 3 shots each? On the contrary, they are part of the reason he had 22 assists. I never said Boston was a bad team or that Rondo is a terrible player, but facts are facts...they have HOF scorers and it makes Rondo's job a LOT easier.

Its the other way around brah, just watch the games or ask any Celtics fan...

Shot selection comes from a PG giving the ball to his players in the right spot...

Funny how someone like AI is blamed for putting his teammates in bad shooting situations, but when someone actually does what a PG suppose to do, its not the PG's fault

i'm the biggest rose fan you'll ever see, but when i watch Rondo play its somethin pretty lol... this guy is a student of the game he knows where to get the ball to every player on the floor, whether its lobbing it up to shaq, or hitting ray ray coming off a screen, finding big baby 12-15 feet out...

while it is not wrong to say that KG, Jesus, and the Truth make Rondo's job a lot easier, Rondo also makes their jobs a lot easier...

i'll still take Rose though lol

Really if CP3 finisher would complete at a higher rate he would have 5-6 more assist a game.
