2.) the reason Carter doesn't seem to have dunked on so many people is because if you watched that video, you'll see that VERY few people ever try to go up and contest him when he drives in, making it look like he gets all uncontested dunks.
honestly i dont feel i made up anyting, both sets of highlights were compiled by the same ppl..nbatv

as far as Kobe vs Vince....made i worded it wrong.

Imo, alot of Kobe's dunks in those vids were in the flow of half court action....in traffic. If you were watching it in real time no way you think he's going for the dunk...(unlikely i should say)

maybe im wrong and ill admit that if proven. but bring out the vids of vince dunking on folks in the flow of the action were a dunk was completely unexpected...Vince never possessed that type of heart in the game....

also in Vinces dunks its just very clear he jumps higher than everyone....those Kobe dunks can get blocked but his going to the rim with so much anger...he gets those dunks off.

again imo Kobes a better in the flow of the action dunker...ill wait to see the vids

EDIT: just watched the vids posted by VD...and like i said Vince is clearly a better dunker than Kobe, but i still feel Kobe's in game dunks more...maybe its the aggressiveness of the dunks, but after watching those vids i still pick young Kobe(in game)

OMG... I just saw those Vince Carter videos.... No contest... Why are we even bringing other players into this conversation Vince is clearly trying to hurt someone. Is there a top ten missed dunks video for Vince?

There is indeed a Top Ten Missed Dunks video featuring Vince Carter. My personal favorites are number three (trying to eliminate Tayshaun Prince from Earth) and number two (the closest Chapel Hill has ever come to imploding on itself).

In the interest of full disclosure, I don't think number 10 was too great and number 1 is a sham. I don't think there was ever a dunk attempted there. I believe it was selected only because it yielded a very memorable picture of Vince flying through the air. There's some nasty other ones here though, including another visit from Mr. Mutombo:

It is easily IMO. He also has the greatest oop I have ever seen. I don't know how many of you guys have seen this one though I'm sure quite a few of you have. This is just insane and they stopped the game after he did this

Thanks! That Andre Miller attempt was pretty nasty as well.

I don't even know what to call the best alley oop of all time. JR Smith 360 alley oop last year has to be up there. But nothing really comes to mind like the "Vince dunk over the french guy".

The Best dunk in the dunking contest imo is Jason Richards throw it off the glass catch in-between his legs windmill dunk. What was more amazing to me at the time. Was he did that on the very first attempt. But still lost the contest smh...

I'm betting you already know, but for those who don't he actually pulled this one off on a number of occasions. The clip you threw up was one of the first time the masses saw him attempt it (can't remember if the charity game came first):
                          <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WLeD6WEYFmw?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WLeD6WEYFmw?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Also, here's how VC spent the summer of 2010:
                          <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DvI5l6ShxI4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DvI5l6ShxI4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Finally, I'm not trying to be overbearing with the links, but I stumbled upon a six minute video devoted entirely to Vince Carter's 360 dunks (or spin dunks for those who love to insist a full 360 degrees was not attained).
                          <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ShcDhZ75zro?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ShcDhZ75zro?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

It's pure funny to me when you say "patent"... because it literally is... What a lot of people don't see in Vince Carter's 360 compared to every single one in the history of basketball. Is that he is spinning the wrong way! I still find it completely amazing every time I see it.
