Also... Last night was another point in that LeBron James better than Kevin Durant in my opinion. Kevin Durant just doesn't have the same effect as LeBron does on the defensive end.

They also pulled out the "Big" line up. With Lebron, Wade, Miller, Bosh and Anthony. But Joel is a worst version of Ben Wallace on offense. He seems so lost at times when he is wide open. I never seen someone fumble the ball so many times when being wide open haha

And yesterday day was just another example of team play vs player. LeBron passes up the game winner to House (if he misses people eat him alive). Kobe takes over (if he doesn't team could of been blown out). Watching the Celtics yesterday was like watching a well oiled machine. Call them old or whatever...They still bring it.

      It can go both ways

My god, I just realized the Lakers just had 10 assists as a team against the Celtics. Reports say that Phil said nobody wanted the ball.

SN: Quiet as kept, the Lakers bench misses Jordan and Sasha. They were instant hussle off the bench. I like Blake, but he hasn't taken to this team like I thought. Luke Walton shouldn't be playing in the NBA. Ok, i'm done.

I think the Lakers will get things straight once Barnes gets back into the lineup. Heck, he may even start when he comes back, since Artest is seeming to lose it mentally.

But, I agree that the bench last year seems to have been much better. At least the games that I have seen. Blake has been very underwhelming.

That's actually a good point that I hadn't thought of. I actually liked Farmar personally, but I still thought Blake was an upgrade. You're right about the hustle though.

Wow! Jason hit nail on the head. I do agree once they get Barnes back it will be a different story. But Blake has been non-exist in some games. I think everyone is surprised with his production. Also... when they put Blake on Allen towards the end. He is just not as clever as Fisher is.

But I was watching the game this morning. But the second half was a totally different Celtics team. They literally ran the Lakers out of the gym. Every time they rebounded the ball. They pushed the **** of the ball. There were at least 5 times where you found the Lakers big men in the back court while the Celtics bigs were in the front court.

Unrelated to the post I'm quoting, honestly, I just think the Celtics were too good for the Lakers to keep up today. I mean, Kobe only scored 5 in the first quarter, but he scored what, 36 in the last 3? And it's not like he was 14/38 from the field or anything like that. The dude was 16/29, 3/5 and 6/7. Even if he was hogging the ball, he still scored the ball more efficiently than you're going to get from the rest of that team anyway. I have a hard time knocking Kobe for scoring 41 efficiently. If he had done it on 40% shooting, sure, but when he's shooting over 50%, the more points the merrier, especially when the rest of the team wasn't shooting the ball nearly as well. And it isn't just his fault the Celtics shot 60% from the floor and 53% from 3. You're not going to beat a team when they shoot that well.
Your right, and that's why durant
said what he said about him. It's one thing to have someone like kg mouthing off, looking at u stupid on the court because he known for that. But when its someone like bosh, somebody needs to tell him to go sit his *** down, which is basically all durant was saying. But I like that Bosh is showing attitude, he needs that. It helps his overall game.

And as far as that lakers game go. I see nobody mentioned that before kobe started putting in work, the C's were up by nine and sort of pulling away. That game would have been over if it wasn't for kobe.

He said, she said at this point and hopefully that's the end of that from this point on.

But yea, Durant did act a lil sensative about that.

I was actually kidding about the Bosh thing. The dude barely touched Harden and when he started talking to Durant, he didn't look pissed at all.

yall getting a little carried away lol. we have a better bench this season. last year the bench was garbage. sasha was not hitting anything, farmer was decent every 7th game, shannon brown was inconsistent and Luke was still Luke. thats including Odom who until this season has always been Mr. Inconsistent.

i agree though that they miss Barnes play from the bench.

I'd much rather have the Lakers current bench. I could go back around the first few months of the season and find posts that said their bench this year is way better than it was last year and it is. The team is just in a slump right now so things are looking worse than they really are.

And please drop the Sasha talk. All of you Laker fans know the dude was trash and you wanted him out for awhile.

                              Exactly.

The day that people are making excuses for LA with this caliber team?

                              SMH

                              Sasha and Jordan? SMH.

Both guys are OK bench players but really aren't missed and shouldn't be missed considering who replaced them/how Brown/Odom has improved. Brown, Barnes, Blake, Odom... get the hell out with "LA really misses Sasha and Farmar".

                              You gotta be joking.

And btw they were sputtering with Andrew/Matt in the lineup so don't give me the "they're injured" line. No excuses.

Blake and Barnes have not done **** this season. From what I have seen this year, Jordan > Blake. And it's not even close. Brown and Lamar have improved. And Joe Smith and Theo, SMH. If the bench plays up to their potental then it's good enough for a chip, but them dudes aint been doing nothing lately.
