Re: The Hornets have blown the Chris Paul era
Right because I'm the only one who doesn't like them and Knicks Fans never talk **** about the Nets, right Kash?
I just find it sad/funny that I get called out specifically for this as if I'm the only one who ever says anything about those sorry *** bums.
Ya'll crack me up with that

Just wanted to know why a perennial loser team (Knicks) are disliked by so many.
"The Big 3" label shouldn't even apply to the Knicks because they didn't sit around planning to play with each other like Miami did.
It's not like Pau Gasol being giftwrapped to the Lakers.
Someone wants to play for that team...more power to them. The management hears it and does what they need to do to get them.
The Knicks never came out and said we wanna rape the Nuggets for Melo.Comment

Depends what you would characterize as talking ****. I would love to see the nets be a contender and would def to see howard and williams on that team.Right because I'm the only one who doesn't like them and Knicks Fans never talk **** about the Nets, right Kash?

Re: The Hornets have blown the Chris Paul era
What does planning to team together have to do with "The Big 3" label? KG, Pierce, and Allen didn't plan to team up and they got that label (which really needs to go burn in a fire somewhere because I'm tired of hearing it).My apologies for calling you out.

Re: The Hornets have blown the Chris Paul era
knicks arent getting CP3, they gave up all their valuable players in the denver trade. Plenty of other teams waiting to take pauls contract. If this were the NFL he would have been traded already to a team that NEEDS him instead of demanding to be traded to a specific teamComment

Re: The Hornets have blown the Chris Paul era
You act as if CP3 is gonna sign an extension with just any team. Not just any team is going to trade for him knowing he's going to leave next summer.knicks arent getting CP3, they gave up all their valuable players in the denver trade. Plenty of other teams waiting to take pauls contract. If this were the NFL he would have been traded already to a team that NEEDS him instead of demanding to be traded to a specific team
If he has his heart set on being a Knick, he will be a Knick by no later than next year.
Also comparing the NBA to the NFL in this instance, is just dumb and pointless. No correlation at all.Comment

Re: The Hornets have blown the Chris Paul era
I dont understand why nawlings didnt trade him last year just like the jazz traded williams... the jazz had a feeling that deron wasnt gonna re-up so they made a preemptive move an avoided the media obsession that paul and howard will create this year...i actually think paul is doing the right thing not only for himself but also for the hornets, he could pretend he might re-sign like LBJ did or he be honest and say u have no chance an now you have a couple months to try an get yourself the best return for meComment

Re: The Hornets have blown the Chris Paul era
Well I honestly believe CP3 has no idea what he wants to do right now, he obviously wants to be in NY. However I think he realizes that he can't be traded to NYK due to it would hurt to Hornets, i'm sure the Hornets would love to be able to resign him then try to attract D12 but that's hard to rely on with the lure of NYK out thereSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: The Hornets have blown the Chris Paul era
Very interesting topic on ESPN Radio the other night. A couple experts believe Paul would benefit from staying in New Orleans. Their main point was if Paul went to New York, he'd be a big deal, but after it's all said and done, he'd never be remembered like he would be in NO. Players will be interested in playing with Paul and the city of New Orleans is a great, historic place. Paul would be what Drew Brees is doing right now if they can start competing again. A lot of people think his best fit is actually in LA with the Clippers anyways. Some experts went as far as saying the Knicks took a step back when they signed Carmelo because their defense game right now is awful. Amare is losing a step and isn't what he used to be on defense. Plus, if he goes to New York, he's going to be playing against the Bulls and the Heat for years, who don't look like they're going away for a long time.Comment

Re: The Hornets have blown the Chris Paul era
CP3 is the best defensive point guard in the league. Best rebounding PG.
best passing point guard in the league next to Steve Nash. he can lead a team full of bums a long way..Derrick Rose & Nash & Rondo can't do that. Nor can Deron williamsKYRIE IRVINGComment
