Celtics have no chance if Nenad doesn't return. Murphy can't play, and the health of Shaq is questionable.

Getting rid of Semih was ****ish.

No one's beating 'em. That's really just the bottom line. Hoping for someone to beat them is a pipe dream.

.....just saw highlights and saw **** wiggling his finger again. Guy think he's Mutombo or something?

The only team out west that can beat the L a k e r s in a 7 game series this year is the Spurs, and they're going to need the home court advantage to do that.

I don't know why... But I love watching Dirk shoot.

The ****** look like the team I've envisioned a while back. Its good to see them playing well.

I'm also loving the playoff ********** I been seeing lately. Lets get the playoffs started already!

OKC can. How do the Spurs match up better than OKC?

If I were a betting man, I would bet that neither are beating LA if LA is healthy. I would wager that OKC has better odds regardless of home court advantage.

-Westbrook is going to torch either Fisher or Kob
-KD got tons of open looks last year just didn't convert
-Ibaka/Perkins can handle themselves one on one alone against Pau/Andrew/Odom
-Harden/Thabo have both shown their ability to at least compete with Kob defensively
                  -Harden has improved drastically offensively
-Collison/Nazr could be valuable as well

Spurs still have their Big 3, but really their bigs don't scare me as much as OKC's do. Even though OKC's bigs can't score, they don't need to. SA's bigs don't scare me on the boards. Duncan doesn't scare me period. Blair almost bothers me more than Duncan does.

                  RJ is a shell.

Beyond Manu/Parker, they have what, Hill and Blair and Neal?

I still say SA can beat LA and I wouldn't be surprised but OKC scares me more and matches up better.

Someone explain to me how SA is the only team that can beat LA in the West?

OKC would need home court, and that's not happening. I jumped off the OKC bandwagon a long time ago. I'm figuring that nobody is beating the ****** without homecourt. East or West

Are you gonna explain why SA matches up better or why SA is the only team out west that can dethrone LA? Or respond to anything specific I said in my response

On paper OKC does match up better. I am giving the Spurs the nod based on experience. So you are right. OKC just doesn't scare me. I would have to see what a healthy Perkins adds.

With me, looking at how banged up SA is, and how they honestly don't have much support outside of the Big 3, the experience advantage might be taken away..

They looked OK against Boston last night, but really they are not looking too hot going into the playoffs. That switch is hard to turn on when you're older and more banged up... and you have a team like LA coming at you that's finishing out the season in the fashion they are [and healthy].

Rebounding/defense on Kob/offensive fire power are gonna be the key to mostly any playoff series. When I look at the Spurs, I don't get scared.

When you look at what OKC has in those three departments, I get scared.

But we shall see very soon. I've been keeping tabs on this Thunder team all year and I still believe in my prediction that OKC would have the best chance to dethrone the champs.

"I don't think Kob wants to chase me or Roddy Beaubois around that court all night. We can cause havoc out there... it's definitely an advantage for us" -Jason Terry after the game.

So between Westbrook/KD/Harden, Parker/Manu/Hill... you think Kob wouldn't be licking his chops against Jason Terry and Roddy freakin Beaubois?

This guy is amusing. I like his game and I like him. This was something hilarious to read though

that was the 4th road game in 5 days for the Mavs while the L akers had 3 days rest...you didnt hear the idiots on TNT mention that when they were going on their "soft" critique of Dallas last night. That was basically a schedule loss for the Mavs[/end excuse]

anyway, LA is clearly the better team and odds are against Dallas or anyone else beating them unless LA gets injuries or if #24, Phil, Gasol, and Odom are abducted by aliens...Dallas has beat them this season but LA is playing like a different team now obviously

as far as the Mavs, the 3rd seed is ok. I think they match up well with Portland and New Orleans. The only team I dont want to see Dallas play in the first round is Denver. I know i need to be careful what I wish for but I really want to see the Mavs get a shot at LA in the playoffs. They have never played LA in the postseason in the Dirk era.
