How can a multiple and consecutive allstar not be a star?

Rodman didnt score. Two time allstar, two time defensive poy. star?

Wallace doesnt score 4 time allstar, 4 time defensive poy. No star

Wait a minute, are people treating the word "Star" the same as a "Superstar" because if that's the case, that makes no sense.

You're either a Superstar or not a Superstar. There is no inbetween i.e "Star".

There to many ifs being thrown around also. Here is another If Boozer ISN'T averaging 20 an 10 in the playoffs I will be surprised. Hes a go to post scorer an has always been in the playoffs. The only way I don't see him averaging at least 20 is if hes not getting enough shots. He may not be a star in some people eyes but I consider him one of the top 5 PFs in the game so yea I feel Rose has adequate help on his team. The only way i don't see the Bulls in the Finals is if Rose tries to do too much.

No, I don't think either one of them were stars.

And he (I think he started it with the superstar vs. star thing but I don't remember) was referring to a guy that isn't quite a superstar but is just below that.

            Boozer top 5 PF?

            Dirk
            Duncan
            Stats
            Bosh
            Gasol
            Love
            Garnett
I would take David West over Boozer

This is why Denver is so intriguing if they get past the 1st round.

                  Right and same for Love.

And as much as it's not fair to him, the perception(not MY perception) for him is that he's putting up good numbers because his team sucks and while he has been doing his thing so far, I haven't seen anything from him to put him > Boozer as well.

Hard to officially put Boozer in the top 5. He's certainly in the discussion, but there's just so many talented PF's out there.

For sure I'd rather have Amare, Pau, Dirk for sure

Not sure where to rank KG and Duncan the old ones

Bosh and Boozer to me are equivalent.

IMO Love is not a higher caliber than Boozer nor anyone already mentioned in this post.

Teams tighten their rotations and the core guys play more mins.

I dunno, the discussion is sort of cloudy. It depends on how good that core is to begin with and how many "good" core players you have to start.

Also depends on if one of those is a post presence.

I would only take Gasol, Amare an Dirk over Boozer for sure. Loves one great season doesn't put him over Boozer yet, an Duncan an Garnet aren't what they use to be so I would take Boozer over them. I love West toughness but I'm in no way taking him over Boozer an I'm not ready to say Lamarcus is better either.

Yeah but it was the guys like Artest and Ariza over the last couple years which created the separation enough for LA to win the title in their Finals matchups. I feel like the stars are going to do what they're going to do regardless.
