Rose cannot win the whole thing by himself.

The young unstoppable Shaq along with Penny got spanked when they went to the Finals w/out any Playoff EXP.
A 59-win team w Shaq, Penny and Nick Anderson. Horace Grant had playoff exp.

Now Chicago's Team Defense is better than Orlando's but betting one ONE dudes heroic prowess is a big gamble IMO.

Is Boozer goin to outplay Gasol in a series?
Is Deng gonna step up w/ Artest on him in a series. Not ONE regular season game, but the whole series.
Noah vs Bynum.....what do u have?

    Bench vs Bench?

Rose vs. Kobe is a wash.

This is Not a MY Player game.

I saw somewhere that with Rose on the bench the Bulls are only like -1.5 points, while when like LeBron or others are sitting their teams are -10 points.

Thats what I call a good roster if you ask me.

Regular season yes. It's why they're #1 in the east right now, but the playoffs are less about bench production and more about core players.

Just off the top of my head,
Pistons didn't even have 1 superstar.
Spurs when it was Duncan before Ginobli and Parker stepped up their games.
I mean, Scottie Pippen was definitely more than a role player, but I wouldn't say he was a superstar, but that one is very debateable.

Those are just off the top of my head. Not to mention, Carlos Boozer is a very good low post scorer, and Luol Deng is a great 3rd wheel. Those two + Rose + roleplayers like Noah, Brewer, Korver, Watson, etc. would give the Bulls a pretty good chance if you ask me.

I said before the season started that I thought the Bulls were a better team than the Heat and maybe the Celtics. I still stand by that.

I don't think its debatable Pippen was a bonafide superstar and is now a Hall of Famer.

The Pistons had no superstar, but 5star starters
Ginobli and Parker played at a very high level in he playoffs. If Boozed and Noah can play like the Spurs two then they have a chance.

Pippen is a HOFer and considered a top50 player alltime.

You can bring up all those Rose scored so and so in his first game as a Rookie.
That team isnt the same team as this Boozer team.

All teams need Cohesion. As a Regular season unit and a Playoff Unit.

And Rose is Just ONE superstar.

Lakers and Celtic have more than ONE.

Is Boozer turning in Rasheed Wallace for Detroit in the Playoffs?

Throwing Playoff Exp out the window is a gamble. Teams take their lumps and return.
I believe in progressing as a UNIT, vs " yeah, Player X got to the second round when he was on team x three years ago."
Don't throw around the word superstar like that. The only superstars right now in the league I can think of are D-Rose, LeBron, Wade, Dwight, Melo, Deron Williams, Kobe, Gasol, Tim Duncan, Nowitzki, CP3, and Durant. That's only two teams with two superstars.

Just tell me that you place Boozer and Deng on the same level as the other double stars in the League.

Boozer and Deng aren't stars. But almost nobody (save Heat, Celtics and maybe Lakers) has legit stars as there 2nd and 3rd best players. I would place Boozer, Noah, and Deng as one of the top supporting casts in this league.

I think they have a good shot, I'm just concerned when you rely on a PG that much to basically carry you.

Boozers playoff number speak for themselves. Hes a good enough player too help Rose get it done.

He was in the Playoffs with this team last year?

What makes you transfer the same performances w/ Utah and Cleveland into Chicago?

Boozer may have numbers but he almost always looks soft or scared to me. His constant talk on the court seems like a way to look the man and calm himself down. Most other Bulls players have that eye of the tiger look on them, Boozer doesn't.
