Tony Douglas is was not scared.

Turiaf was a beast. Too bad he's not given the green light to shoot a jumper like Big Baby.

Jared Jefferies looked out of place.

^^Jared didn't do much... He literally made them play 5 on 4 (even when Rondo was on the floor).
Douglas might not be scared. But his inexperience showed on the last play. The Knicks seems out of wack for that whole possession. I think if Melo would have caught the ball under the free throw line. He would of made a shot. And I think Billups gets him that situation (not Tony). ^^

Again... you guys are becking about calls? I can count pointless calls both ways. You guys are lying to yourselves if you think the Knicks lost because they didn't get any whistles.

I think the worst call of the weekend was Ariza's "run through" the pick flagrant foul call in the Hornets-Laker game (at most should of been a normal foul). Besides that everything else was subjective and pretty legit in my opinion.

If Billups can't go..then forget about it.

I don't trust Douglas getting major minutes.

About the refs..the calls were blatantly obvious to everyone. That's not even a discussion point.

The game shouldve been over after Douglas' 3.

The remainder falls on D'Antoni, Melo and the Knicks Defense. They didn't adjust, didn't have timeouts and didn't stop them.

Jared Jeffries shouldve been guarding a wing player, NOT Rondo.

Someone mentioned if Chauncey was out there, the outcome mightve been different. I believe so because he'd bring to the floor what D'Antoni couldn't.

        Mike got outcoached..plain and simple.

          ^^ Exactly ^^

I'm telling you... "Dan-Tony" needs to go. I couldn't believe he was more focused in the press conference about the last shot then getting the stop on the possession before.

He would be focused on the offensive side since he wont on the other end.

They are going to live/die by his philosophies or are hire a defensive coach that can blend in.

I'd say start this off-season before 3 years down the line your "re-building" again.

Don't worry Knicks fans, D'Antoni will get fired and Phil Jackson will come back home to the Garden.

Douglas was tripped by KG though

                    moving screen with no call?

..but im sure it'll get downplayed somehow that the refs just missed it or somehow the knicks just blew it anyway

Excuses, excuses, Knick's fans. You KNOW your team sucks when you have to blame the loss on the refs. There were dumb calls going both ways.. don't act like y'all didn't get some favorable whistles.

                        Give me a break.

No game has ever been decided by one play.

That doesn't mean you can't point out when the refs ****ed up, which they did, in crucial spots of the game.

The blame goes on Carmelo last night but the refs didn't help at all. KG was mugging people all 4th quarter and there was at least one questionable offensive foul on Carmelo and Stat.

That was a blatant foul on KG. It wouldn't be that big a deal either if the refs hadn't just called a touchy offensive foul on the play right before it. KG foul was way worse and gave Boston a much bigger advantage than Melo's foul did.

I never said the game was decided by one play. I know the refs were bad, they ALWAYS make a few dumb calls, some games more than others, but you can't blame a loss on a few calls.

My view point on this is as follows:

In Boston, you have to beat the Celtics and the refs if you want to win. It's always been that way an always will.
