I remember vaguely a rule, that if a player gets elbowed above the shoulders the perpetrator is suspended for a game. Is that still a rule, or has it been voided?

Devil's Advocate here. Kobe is not an idiot. He knows when he does something the cameras will be there. It's like saying 'did ridiculously hot celebrity woman go out there and sell her sex tape? Did she ask for her sex tape to be released to the public?" Maybe not, but the broad knows that millions of people want to see her naked and doing something like that so if she put it on video and happen to leave it carelessly laying somewhere to be stolen or picked up by someone that she knows will take it and sell it, she knows it's gonna make her money and boost her career.

Kobe may not ask the cameras to watch him shoot around after a loss, but he knows if he does it, they'll be on his *** with the story.

Possible series clincher for Memphis tonight, but I fully expect the Spurs to come out with fire and win.

Wow...Colin Cowherd on his show this morning. I knew he was a Laker/Kobe fan, but he was putting it on thick this morning.

I am really hoping the Lakers make it to the finals. It won't be as fitting to win a championship against anyone else.

Gotta take back what is rightfully ours.

Lol, both LA and Boston have a long tough road bro.

How about you worry about getting Shaq healthy first and worry about the Heatles first.

LA themselves are in for a 7 game series IMO now and then who knows if they even show up for Dallas or Portland, let alone OKC.

IDk about a 7 game series with NO right now. Yes they have played us tough in this series but this isn't the first team to do that in the last 3 years.

We've been in this situation before and the only team to win a home game against us to force a game 7 was houston in 09. Then we proceeded to beat Denver in game 6 at Den, when everybody said the same thing "Den plays great at home and has given the lakers all they can handle". We followed that by closing ORL out on the road to win the title.

Last year everybody said OKC would win game 6 at home and force a game 7 with the same words and we closed it out game 6. The Utah series was a sweep so not counting that. Then in the WCF against Phoenix, everybody once again predicted a game 6 win for them at home and we closed that out in game 6 as well.

Now can NO win game 6 and force a game 7? Absolutely they can but I don't see it happening.

If the refs randomly start to decide to call a good game then the Hornets have a very good chance to atleast force a game 7.

                    There won't be a game 7.

You make it seem like everyone said Denver was taking LA 7. I clearly don't recall that.

I clearly don't recall "everyone" saying OKC would win game 6 same thing with PHX.

I'm not sure where you go that from.

I'm just talking about this particular series. Just the vibe I get from the team. Reminds me of the Houston series that went 7. Only because Houston was missing a star and had a great fanbase. Undersized bigs but scrappy bigs. PG killing. Lowry/Brooks = CP3

This series has nothing to do with past ones. Nothing. Completely different. If it doesn't go 7 big deal. It's just a feeling I have.

And those are valid points and the feeling I have is that it ends in 6. Also last year this thread was the same way with a lot of people giving game 6 to both OKC and PHX.

Hell I basically made the same post last year in the WC playoff thread before game 6 of the PHX series. If I'm mistaken and most posters didn't have those series going 7 then my apologies to the forum.

It really wasn't that bad I mean he tried to foul him from the back and missed the ball then hit him in the head. It didn't really phase Omeka he got right back up. But then again it is Kobe and everything little thing he does usually makes for big news.
