I don't think Perk can dominate a game...nor has he ever done so.Comment

Which is exactly why he shouldn't been mentioned in the first place in here.#RespectTheCultureComment

Imo there's no one in the league that can. The last person that has been mentioned in this thread, JKidd was doing it years ago. The only one with a chance in my eyes would be Rondo, but we need to see what he does without the big three getting most the attention.

Why not? That's the basis of a discussion really. And I know I don't say too much positive about Perk but that's just bc I don't have to. People have been pumping him up left and right so I've been forced to take the roll of pumping the brakes on that. He's a decent player but his name gets mentioned way too much for how average he is.Comment

Re: Who can dominate a game without scoring a single point?
This definitely isn't true. If you stop other teams from scoring by blocking and altering shots and limiting them to only one shot, you can definitely dominate a game. If you set up your teammates so they are getting the ball in their range and open then you can dominate the game and have a huge effect on your team scoring.Comment

Let's not forget about hustling for lose balls, rebounds, and (coaches new favorite stat to follow) deflections. This definitely isn't true. You can most definitely dominate a game without scoring. Albeit super rare. You looking at the Chair MAN!
Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.Comment

Re: Who can dominate a game without scoring a single point?
True too... might as well throw steals in there. But we can sum it all up with:
1. Court awareness (proper spacing to help offense flow and talking and rotation on D to stop easy shots; getting the ball to teammates in rhythm and their sweet spots)
2. Hustle/dirty work (loose balls, steals, screens, charges, offensive rebounds)
3. Defense (blocks, defensive boards, shutting down primary scorer, vocal leader, altered shots)
I think the two that I could literally see dominating without scoring a point are Dennis Rodman and Kidd both in their prime (honorable mention to Ben Wallace). I think a lot of others could, but it's not likely that they wouldn't score a point.Comment

Re: Who can dominate a game without scoring a single point?
If we're including past players, I'd take Rodman and Olajuwon. Hakeem was a very good passer, very good defensively on the block, had great hands on the defensive end, was very good on the boards, and was very smart.Acts 2:38. Let the truth be told.
John 4:23. He is seeking a seeker.
John 3:20. Say no to normal.Comment

Re: Who can dominate a game without scoring a single point?
Yeah to be fair I think the arguement should be like when scoring less then 10 points, cause in this day and age it's hard to not score a single point if you're within the flow of a game.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
