Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
I will say though that they have come a long way from that first game vs the Celtics. A lot of great ball movement in this game from them. One of my favorite plays was in OT when Wade used a pick from LeBron and he rolled to the basket. And Wade made the pass to him. And LeBron made one more touch pass to Bosh for flush (and a knee to LeBron crown jewels).
When LeBron has the ball I've notice a lot of times what Wade does. Is crash the boards (or looks for the pass) as soon has his man turns his back to help on LeBron.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Traveling is probably the most inconsistent of infractions in the NBA so I'm not surprised it wasn't called. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it was called if Jeff Green did the same thing on the other end.Comment

I think what happens in those situation is the refs put their whistles in their pockets. Its such a bang bang play though. I've seen that call not made in severally situations.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

meh, when its Bron in that situation its "le-iso" or whatever name you can come up with. When its Wade, hes "closing"
Bron had the hot hand, they fed him...I dont see anyhing wrong with his play down thr stretch...Comment

Samething I said ... I don't even see the big deal really. Even that iso play where he hit the 3. I can deal with LeBron isolating towards the end there.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Who said it even is a big deal? The last play LBJ goes at it again and turns it over. If Pierce makes that buzzer beater you all know everyone here is talking about how LBJ can't close.
Hot or not, Wade isn't Donyell Marshall.Comment

He is not Donyell Marshall. But the game played out in their favor. LeBron had the hot hand there. I don't see what the problem was there.
edit: Even though he turned the ball over at the end. I would say 7 out of 10 times isolation at the end of the game is the right play in my opinion.Last edited by jeebs9; 05-10-2011, 10:20 AM.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

@ big baby's facial expression when james hit the 3 pointer by boston's bench to tie the game. Ice water in the vein moment right there especially with crowd hyped off of allen's 3 pointer.

That situation was pretty funny. Because my friend (who is a Boston fan) had been texting back and forth through out the game. And he texted me "Booom!" when Ray Allen hit the 3. But I must of received it after LeBron hit his 3. And I replied back. "Which 3 were you Booom ing at?" lolHands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

I get that feeling too. But I sometimes get the feel that they are still calling illegal defense at times. Also, think that they don't want to mess up any "entertainment value finishes" at the end of games.Last edited by jeebs9; 05-10-2011, 10:28 AM.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

I'm not saying there is a problem or a big deal but you have Wade just watching that play where the turnover occurs. Would you rather have LBJ attack the rim against 3 defenders or attack, have the defense collapse and get the ball to a moving Wade?
Loved that as well. Justice for Big Baby.Comment
