I don't think Miami is going to win it all because they "put it together" or whatever. I think the league just happens to be wide open this year, with a lot of teams having a chance, and I thought whoever won this series would be the team to win it all. I really thought Celtics were best equipped to handle any team out there, and were the best all around team this year in the playoffs, but unfortunately we couldn't get it done tonight and that's pretty much a wrap for the big 3 era. Now Miami is going to have insane confidence since they will definitely not face anyone else the rest of the way that will challenge them like this Celtics team. I can only hope that Dallas will get revenge for 2006, but I think realistically Miami takes it.

Just finished watching on DVR. What a great freakin game that was! Miami has really stepped up.

Dude is filthy. People can name anyone they want other than James for MVP but I'd roll with this guy all the way. Been like that for the past 3 years or so.

Hopefully he finally hits some "clutch" shots though

Yea, there's no way anyone can say he's not the best player in the league. Just an unbelievable train of a man who also happens to be extremely skilled at basketball


But by the way, you gotta give it to Pierce, he plays LeBron better than anyone in the league. I feel so bad for Pierce after these last few years, he's going to go down as one of the most under appreciated players ever. Had we won last year, and then won tonight, he'd be mentioned as a top 5 player of this generation, having beaten Kobe head to head in the finals twice, and played LeBron heads up time and time again the playoffs. Came up just short each time.

but really, i dont care who they play, their gonna win it all in their first year together as the new BIG THREE of the NBA, and you heard it here first, they will win 3 (or more) of the next 5 NBA Titles

Na, there's a lot of people around the internet and on OS that will tell you to you that James isn't even the best player on his team.

As for PP, even if they won last year it would be tough to put PP over KG and Dirk. The first three would already be set in stone, which I shouldn't have to even name.

But looking at it, I don't even know if that would have distinguished him from AI, Kidd [is he of this era?], Nash.

And for my money in their primes, it would be a difficult decision between PP, Ray Ray, VC and McGrady, hell even Manu.

Just based off longevity and production, PP definitely belongs in the top 10, it would be hard to argue that resume.

That, or Dirk getting a ring....ill be a happy camper considering my Spurs are gone.
