What makes Rondo special (outside of his freakishly long arms and athletic ability) is that he knows exactly where and how every Celtic wants to get the ball.

I think, if he plays, Miami is going to really go at him. It seemed to me that in the last game, after he came back out, they were hesitant to really test that arm or attempt to block his shot. No one wants to be the guy that, in the course of a regular play, seriously alters a young man's career for the worse.
Now, if he starts, after medical evaluation and rest the Heat can only assume that he, and the organization, feel the risk isn't that serious and will play accordingly.

I just hope he doesn't seriously injure his arm trying to play.

I dont think Boston can win this year with a one armed Rondo

As tough as it was this last game, he cant do that through the finals, and those guys would likely have to continue to have perfect games to keep up any kind of serious momentum

That's the same way I feel. For as effective as he was when he came back. But Rondo playing with one hand will either make boston win or be a vert bad idea.

I hope I am wrong, but I think Boston is done. I don't see KG playing like he did the other night. Rondo may not even play tonight, he probably shouldn't anyway for the betterment of his team's chances.

Although that's more like a big 1.5 than big 3

As far as the remaining teams out East, I hope Miami gets through simply because they're healthy. I'd rather not see Boston/Chicago limp into the finals not at full strength.

That definitely wasn't flagrant. He was making a play at the ball and if not for LeBron's double clutch he definitely would have at least hit his hand if not the ball.
