If anyone on the team besides Carlos Boozer could make a shot, then sure, maybe then the Bulls would have played a better game, but nobody on that team shot worth a damn tonight and they allowed Josh Smith to put together one hell of a game. This was an impressive win for the Hawks.

Edit: Not to mention, even if the Bulls had made 7 additional free throws, they still would have lost. The Hawks got good looks and knocked them down while the Bulls struggled the entire night. Not to mention you had Rose throw up at least 36 or so shots when he obviously wasn't making anything.
I agree. The Bulls played horrible today and didn't outplay anyone. Atlanta just lets opponents hang around even when they're playing terrible.

I still think that missed call was critical. Not only was it 3 possible points taken away but possession as well. But what can you do? Bulls better bring it strong game 5.

Also Korver out there at the end? Geez... I know he has hit big shots before in the stretch but he was playing terrible. No offensive trade of for his lack of defense. That one play where he sags on Teague and then pressed him and allowed for the easy lay up pissed me off to no end. No adjustment was made afterwards either.

Bulls played bad and coaching didn't help either. After that one time out they run Rose at the basket against 3 defenders? Really? If I was Atlanta that is all I would prepare for with the game going like it was and they did. I love Rose, I do but Tibs put too much faith in him. You need to involve others, run plays. I rather have Deng or Boozer miss an open look then have Rose attack the rim against 3 defenders. ATL was ready for it each time.

I could go on but I'm very disappointed.

And it's a bs foul alot of the time for those guys too. Like i said, i'd like to see it again, to get another look at it.

I do understand why you guys are pissed though, being Bulls fans and all.

I don't agree with the calls and I've never liked them but consistency is consistency. As someone mentioned similar play happened with Luol.

Can't find any vidoes on YT but I've watched it a couple times on my DVR and it's a foul each time. Rose pump fakes, gets the defender in the air and initiates the contact.

However, I like what Tibs say post game. "You can't pin this on the officials" and he's damn right! Poor play across the board.

I know I posted something about complaining about the officiating during these playoffs but, how the hell was a foul not called on that three attempt by Rose? Durant and Pierce get that call 100% of the time.

And this is one of the things I look at when people start whining about Derrick getting all these superstar calls. Does he get star calls? He gets a few, but not every game and certainly not some obscene amount per game like some of the guys have been trying to act like in the playoffs this year. If dude was truly on the level of ridiculous star calls he'd get that call EVERY Single Time like Kobe, Pierce, Wade and every other superstar who always gets that call does when they do it.

Yea, that's not pretty at all.

That being said, can't rely on the Refs in the final minutes of a game because 7 times out of 10, you're not going to get the call you want.

                      too much complain for nothing
it's a series the best team wins if the ref made a mistake go out and win the other games.
Bulls have the upper hand the play at home they will get their calls.

Rose has to play some years of good basketball in order to be called a superstar.

LOL Bosh is intimidated by the Boston crowd.

When the Miami Heat came on the floor 15 minutes before Game 3's tipoff Saturday night the arena was darkened and the seats at TD Garden were full. On the videoboard above, the Boston Celtics were shown outside their locker room jumping up and down as the theme from Rocky pulsed from the loud speakers.

It was intimidating and that was before anyone had even broken a sweat. Most arenas are rowdy in the playoffs and in Boston it's tradition.

The intensity of that atmosphere got to Chris Bosh, something he admitted when looking back on his first road game in the second round. Bosh said nerves were a major factor in perhaps his worst game of the season, a six-point, five-rebound effort in 30 minutes in the Heat's 97-81 blowout loss.

"Given all the elements that were out there last night ... they were so hyped," Bosh said. "My emotions got the best of me early on and it kind of dictated what I was doing for the rest of the game."

No not both. If Rose got the call and makes the 3 FTs, Atlanta gets possession.
Didn't really matter though since the Bulls couldn't get stops after that.

agreed, but i'm putting that on Thibodeau for not calling plays for deng and boozer (lets not forget that rose is NOT a veteran yet...)

which would mean that 7 out of 10 times the other team gets the call they want, which means that yes for some fans 7 out of 10 times they are going to get the call they want lets stick with 5 out of 10 lol

Posted this on the other page, but here's a quote from the article..
"An inadvertent whistle is when a referee blows his whistle and didn't mean to. That's exactly what happened," Salvatore told a pool reporter. "I blew my whistle and didn't mean to, I didn't think it was a foul. Having watched the replay after the game, it was a foul and I should have called it. I made a mistake."
