Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
I been at work so I haven't been able to reply to anything. First off, ex you already know this, if you have a problem with anything I say, put my name on it and stop all the 'someone said this in the other thread' nonsense. Second of all, if you're gonna object to something I say and reference it, don't be BSPN and take the juicy stuff to make your point and take it out of context. When I called them the corpse of the Celtics in was in regards to the team post Rondo injury. As I said in the thread, any chance Boston had in that series went out the friggin window when Rondo tore up his arm. KG aged right before our eyes and was near useless in that series. Paul Pierce wasn't Paul Pierce at all in all but one, maybe two games. If that's not a corpse I don't know what is. I mean, if we're giving Miami credit for slaying the demon then it's a corpse they did it against cause they didn't beat the Boston that had been a thorn in they're asses. Being formidable and actually being a threat to win the series are two totally different things, but I like how we lose sight of things like that in order to make our arguments. Whatever, it is what is.Comment

So Boston was looking like a title contender against NY, but is suddenly a corpse now that they lost to Miami?Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
The corpse comment, as has been mentioned and clarified already, was based on Boston's key injuries. You know, that Rondo guy getting hurt.
Did you even read King's last post?

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
A one armed Rondo with PP/KG/Ray is still better than 90% of the crap the East had this year.
They still could have won that series, outside of one game all of them were close.
So you using the word corpse in any sense is still pretty ridiculous to me. But whatever the series is over, time to move on.
The bigger point I was getting at was you acting bitter like people were crowning Miami already. No, nobody crowned them. You were acting like people were raving that LeBron exercised the demons. No, nobody was raving.Comment

Ummm...the Miami/Boston series could have gone either way. For a corpse to beat is Miami damn near impossible.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Ainge wore those guys out last year as well not getting enough pieces to get those guys rest. They were playing some very heavy minutes and he did practically nothing to minimize that.
This year he gave up not only Perk, but Nate, Daniels, and two more big men on top of that only to have Big Baby running the show out there
Come on now
As I said in the other thread, I'm ok with giving up on Nate and Daniels and I'm sure they would've loved to have Sheed back. Hands were kind of tied with Perk, especially with the injury... but that's the one move some can argue should've waited until the end of the season (but running the risk of losing significant trade value).
Oh so now we're gonna act as if Kendrick Perkins would have been irrelevant. Interesting.
He didn't shut ZBO down twice already or anything.
Boston didn't even need a 100% healthy Kendrick to give them enough...
People gonna act as if Miami routed Boston or that the games weren't close. Interesting.
BTW Pack it's all love
I do think if they had another big to throw out there they wouldn't have tried to play small ball as much with Miami.Comment
