That's another thing. Odom is proven to be a bitch too. Whenever things get out of hand, he gets VERY testy.

It's happened on more than one occasion.

Oh well, at least my family took it like champs. My dad watched it the whole way through, didn't make any excuses and took the taunting like a man. Facebook...oh that's a different story altogether. The best is this one guy who the past three years around this time of year are things like...

'Deez Laker boyz ain't playin no games with deez huff *** teams out here joe. Let's get it Lakers!'

'Boston ain't on ****, when them boyz from LA get done wit 'em we'll see what's up.'

'Who gon get dey *** whooped by LA next? Let's go!'

All I've seen out of this gentleman's NBA posts this year are...

'Da Bulls, they takin' this **** this year bitches!'

'Atlanta garbage *** think they doin somethin with these Bulls? Let's go Chi!'

        And of course today.

'Hahaha, Lakers weak *** got bust by Dallas. They garbage *** didn't want none of deez Bulls no way.'

I'm not going to get into the conspiracy theory stuff, but I honestly don't think there is a damn thing the refs could have done to change the outcome of this series. Hats off to the Mavs because they took the series out of the refs, the Lakers, and anyone else who was not a Maverick's hands. It sucks what happened in Miami (in 04-05), but the Mavs learned the best way to not get screwed by the refs is to take it out of their hands. I haven't been as obsessed with basketball since my Rockets have been floating in mediocrity, but, these are not the same Mavs I remember (choking leads, no defense). It was weird cheering for them, but they showed a lot of heart. Anyway, my point is that the Mavs were THAT much better than LA, so much so that I have a hard time imagining how the refs could screw Dallas without some super WWE type Vince screwed Bret type stuff.

I don't agree. Outside of this game, the other three were most definitely screwjob-able.

Good point. I'd have to look at those games alot closer again though.

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread

Perhaps more than anything, the notion that Pau Gasol can be this team's next great leader was swept away. His sudden and odd postseason disappearance was the most obvious reason for the Lakers' troubles, his fall completed Sunday when he scored 10 points while being pushed around by everyone but his coach, who thankfully refrained from hitting him for a second consecutive game.

"I have to learn from this," Gasol said. ''I have to learn that when something happens off the court, you have to keep it off the court."

He was referring to the report that he stopped talking to Bryant during the postseason because Bryant's wife, Vanessa, had contributed to the breakup of Gasol and his longtime girlfriend. Lakers fans will remember that Karl Malone once publicly accused Vanessa of interfering with his personal life in a similar fashion.

Whatever was happening, Bryant and Gasol haven't connected on the court in a month, and the Lakers have been lost without the strength of their fusion.

Why does this chick have ANY credence with anything? Mind your own business, you stupid meddler. Make sure your "man" ain't cheating on you again. Though you probably dont care, getting four million rings each time and whatnot.

I've lost all respect for Bynum that I had. I've looked the other way on both Wallace and Beasley but this... Bynum is a straight up punk.

What I find once again is the outlandish idea that ORL would trade Dwight for a guy who cant even play a full season?

They always come up with crap stuff like this

If Dwight comes to LA.....it'll be through free agency. Bottom line.

Hey Laker fans, you want Vince Carter's expiring deal for Gasol? lol
