Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Yes I am. The intent wasn't there like it was for the other two.
It was a combination of him being unbalanced/uncoordinated, trying to take a hard foul and not making a play on the ball. A dirty play sure, but I didn't see him trying to purposely injure Wallace like Beasley and JJ.Comment

I'm sorry, the intent was there. If there was no intent to hurt him, the other two incidents would not have happened.Comment

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
They were expecting it.Poor way for the Lakers to go out...really without any class at all. People criticise guys like Nash and Dirk, but they've always lost with class. We saw today that this LA team lacks any of that...
As for Bynum......................that was a coward's shot. Really dissapointing and full marks to the Mavs for not reacting. They could have easily lost half their team for game 1 of the WCF's because that type of shot was gutless AND on the smallest guy on the court.
In game 2 during the timeout right before the Artest ejection someone spoke up and said that they should expect some kind of cheap shot. So they all went into the game with cool heads and knew it wasn't worth reacting.Comment

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
I don't know ex, I don't know how you go at someone who's going up and with they're chest exposed not going for the ball or a wrap up but just throwing your elbow and not intending to hurt someone. It's like whacking someone with a big stick in the back and when they come up with a back injury saying you weren't trying to hurt them. Well what did you think was going to happen when you whacked the guy?Yes I am. The intent wasn't there like it was for the other two.

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Re-word that again.. didn't quite understand.
It was definitely a dangerous and dirty play, but it's just my honest opinion that he didn't mean to hurt or cheapshot Wallace.I don't know ex, I don't know how you go at someone who's going up and with they're chest exposed not going for the ball or a wrap up but just throwing your elbow and not intending to hurt someone. The other two were clear as day, the Wallace one I'm not as quick to say Bynum was trying to injure him.
Anyway call me delusional or whatever, but saying Bynum should be banned for life? Na that's not delusional either... lolComment

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
In fairness, number 2 and 3 are still around. Also, what I've never understood for those on the anti-fixed side of things. Do you really think it's smart to have the same team win ALL the time? You have to switch things up to not be completely obvious. Not saying it's fixed or not, but jumping up whenever a team like LA loses and saying 'SEE' to prove the point it's not fixed doesn't really make sense. Even casinos allow people to win sometimes.Comment

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
There is no way you cheap shot a person like that without intent to hurt them
anyone jumping in the air and you throw a flying bow at him while his torso is exposed, thats not meant to just stop the ball...especially when you"re two times bigger than the other guyComment
