I would lose interest. Also, that doesn't sound like a "super" team to me. More like 3 elite players and 2 second tier players.

Man.. We still calling Bosh a second tier player? CP3, Wade, LeBron, Bosh and Nene. I wouldn't want to play that team in 2k. Your talking about the some of the best defenders at their position (in CP3, Wade and LeBron).

As long other 'superteam' are formed to combat it, I'd be fine. Put Dwight Howard in Chicago or LA. Have Deron Williams in New York(get rid of the coach as well). Put Kevin Love in OKC. Put Manu Ginobli in Dallas. And let see what happens. That'll be very interesting.

That would be the absolute worst case scenario for Stern and the NBA.

If Howard basically said "hey, I want rings...i'm off to Miami".

It won't happen, but it would be an absolute nightmare for the NBA.

If post lock out Paul and Howard went there........................seriously, the NBA would have to step in and void the deals.

This is what I am getting at in this thread...leagues like the NBA need great competition / need multiple contenders.

If we ever got a 5 man 'superteam'...what would happen? If the players took control themselves and basically formed their own team to win all the time.

With shoe endorsements, advertising etc...it's not difficult for the really elite players to make tonnes of $$$ outside of their NBA salaries anyway. So the whole "they wouldn't want to accept lower wages" isn't always the case.

but why would Nene want to live in a spanish speaking community, he's brazilian and isn't brazil a portuguese speaking country?

Portugese and Spanish are very similar. If you know one, you can get by well enough in both.

I.e. look at footballers like Cristiano Ronaldo...he's Portugese, but is able to understand all the Spanish players on the field when they play.

Hmmm....are you a native speaker?

My wife is a spanish teacher, and has stated time and time again that she can't communicate with Portuguese speaking people. This comes after saying things like let's go to Portugal or Brazil.

Portuguese and Brazil have french language relationships mixed with spanish.

The spanish language also blends with tigalo, but my wife isn't able to effectively have intelligent dialogue speaking the native phillipino language.
