It's a shame. Kobe lives to be Michael Jordan. I thought with everything that's been going on with him, he'd start to try and develop his own identity.

It started with the previous game against the Bucks. He hit a shot in the 4th Qtr and waved his finger as he ran back down the court. All the while, moving and acting like MJ.

Now, he does this in the San Antonio game in the 1st Qtr

I'm glad he fell. And he tried to play it off. What an idiot. He has a huge identity crisis. This is probably the main reason that I've never liked him.

And question- is a shot still "forced" even if it goes in? Because I saw him grab a rebound, run down the court, take and make a shot with 3 guys on him and no other Laker touched the ball. Gary Payton stood there with his hands on his hips like WTF?

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Would u shut teh f up about him trying to be the next MJ. Its funny how all u did was point out what he did wrong in that game while u forgot to mention him leading his team victory u ******. So what if he fell, it isnt about how u look genius its about playing basketball and making shots. Dont forget he aint veen 100% and is playing wit a [censored you naughty boy] up leg but yet still managed to play 49 minutes. Heres a memo to fans, whenever u boo Kobe that pisses him of and make shim want to destroy ur team even more.

Damn dude, you get all pissed and hostile b/c someone on the internet voices hes opinion on a player that you seem to disagree with? Sounds like a person with insecurity problem or has a bad temper...relax dude.

While I don't agree with him as far as to say "Kobe lives to be Michael Jordan" I understand why he would say that. Kobe does seems to have some of Jordan's antics on the court. I can't help but remind me of Jordan when Kobe does certain things like waving his fingers, clapping his hands when goin on a run and such. Oh yea I too, thought it was funny when Kobe tripped on himself, but does that means I dis-credit hes great performace? I dont think so. I don't hate Kobe and I don't like him either.

I don't like Kobe, sue me. You attempt to silence a crowd in the 1st Qtr???? Please.

It's got me thinking, I wonder if Kobe gave that same "silence the crowd, finger-wave" to the girl in the Colorado hotelroom.

I agree w/ you there man. Kobe does have the best chance out of all the current players. One thing though. Everybody is waiting for him to have a team to call his own. A tean where he runs a show. If he can win consistently in the regular season and the playoffs w/ his "own" team then he's got a good shot. A lot of people won't admit it, but someday there's going to be a player who will be recognized as being a better basketball player than MJ.

It is impossible to do it "on his own". Yes winning with 3 other HOFers on the roster wont make a good case for him but to bring up an old argument...Jordan had Pippen. Jordan is the greatest player of all time but Pippen could have led his own team. Not to a championship but they would have gone far. The question is, does it only count as winning it "on your own" if you have no decent center to speak of? If Jordan had a Shaq type player...would we still be hearing these same arguments against Kobe? Kobe has a long way to go before he even comes close to Jordan but he is the best player in this league. Dont confuse height with talent. (that goes for Shaq and Duncan)

I'd also like to bring up what they talked about in the LAL - SAS game. That Kobe could flee to SA after this season. He would have to deal with the same sh*t about not winng by himself. I will be a LAker fan to the grave but am a big kobe supporter. I think SA would be the only place Kobe could go that would make me despise him.

I'm a Lakerfan and all, but Kobe probably won't be the best of all time, he does have a slight chance, and the best chance out of everyone in the NBA (if he stays on the basketball court).
