I always think about how much it sucks that, if you're an athlete, once you go pro that's it. You can't root for the team you rooted for all your life, unless you're on that team.

Then, they go from city to city. So they play for one team for years and hope like hell that team is successful. Then they go from that to another, and the same thing happens.

Just kinda weird. Of course, getting paid millions helps.

I can... kind of. These guys can wear whatever they want. The thing about "the player" (channeling my inner Parcells) is he made it clear that he could be going a number of places, so seeing him with another team's hat on was a big deal. We know Durant ain't going nowhere, and the kid just loves to ball and will do it anywhere. If OKC and CHI were big rivals I could kind of see an issue, but they're not... in basketball or anything else. Honestly, he probably just likes the hat, lol.

I will say if he came out in a jersey or some official bulls shorts, that might be a little different, but not accessories.

I agree. I don't see why you can't still hope for the best of your old fav team, as long as it's not effecting you. It's not like cheering for a team from a far influences their wins/loses.

At the same time it's a business. If you work for Nissan, do you think your boss would want you to wear a Honda shirt?

Also Rudy has signed with Real Madrid.

I'm not a pro athlete but there has to be (or you hope there would be) some sort of pride from donning your home team's gear...especially being the star player and face of the team.

I'm not making a huge deal of this...just for discussion.

This is not a pic of Serge Ibaka rocking a Mavs hat. This is the franchise player.

Now I'm sure KD didn't give 2 wiffs about it and just threw on his fave hat.

            But damn..

              People...it is a Hat LOL.

It ain't like he's walking around with a shirt where on the front it says: "Taking my talents to..." and on the back it has:

              A. NY
              B. DC
              C. LA
              D. MIA

Besides, you think these players don't have a closet full of Fitteds from other teams, especially with Snapback Phase back in action after a 20 year hiatus.

                KD to da Bulls!

Come on Gar Forman, make it happen!

And for those who want to know...yes...I'd trade Noah for KD.

What type of clothing is irrelavent imo. Lol could you imagine if Brett Favre had been photographed wearing a Cowboys cap? It would be worldwide news for a week.

I love KD but that's not smart. I don't want my staff wearing an opposing companies logo's so I don't think it's unreasonable to not expect nba players to do they same.

I just seen Favre wear Vikings Colors for 2 years so I doubt seeing him in a Cowboys Hat would bother me now

I don't know, I guess it's because I don't expect most of these NBA players to actually use their brain that much so that's why I don't let stuff like this bother me. And because at the end of the day...it's still a hat and last I checked, there wasn't any rule(unless it's another one of those "unwritten" rule)saying he couldn't wear it. I mean it ain't like he's a Crip wearing Red or a Blood wearing Blue LOL. Now THAT I could understand why it's an issue for some

Oh, well as a Spurs fan, if I see Tim Duncan walking around in a Suns fitted ill definitely be asking wtf is up, lol. Its a hat, sure, but a hat with another teams logo on it.

                              There goes K-Mart

Longtime Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin will sign a contract to play with Xingiang Guanghui in the Chinese Basketball Association.
Martin's contract will be the the biggest in CBA history.
Gallo also signed with an Italian team with an "out" clause.

Sucks for Denver. They weren't resigning everyone but not they won't even have a choice this year.
