Re: Top-10 Players in the NBA
McGrady was consistently mentioned in the top 5 ( with Duncan, O'Neal, Bryant and Garnett) in his prime. The "lovefest" is valid because Durant is not only a scorer, but he is an above average defender (especially help side) and great rebounder at his position. He's also already led his team to the western conference finals in his 3rd year.
My (revised) top 10:
1. LeBron
2. Dwight
3. Wade
4. Dirk
5. Durant
6. Kobe
7. Rose
8. Paul
9. Randolph
10. Anthony

Re: Top-10 Players in the NBA
Why not? He's a nightly double-double and finally became a leader last year. Everyone from six down has a severe flaw in his game, Kobe due to age, and Randolph impacts games in two very key areas. Ask Duncan, Bonner, Blair, Splitter, McDyess, Ibaka, Collison and Perkins if he isn't top 10. It may have been for just one season, but I think he played his way into the top 10.

Re: Top-10 Players in the NBA
It really Depends how you list these players... as in the numbers, the rings, the consistency ect ect.
But thinking about all those factors I would say this.....
1. LeBron James - Just absolutely the most talented player in the league right now, the fact that he choked in the finals really hinders him from being a above and beyond #1 but he's still #1
2. Kobe Bryant - Age is catching up to him , Fast. Last season showed he can't carry teams like in 2009, But still at his age those numbers he has and are still capable of putting up? Absolutely a #2
3. Dwight Howard - Now this was tough, But I'd say Dwight is Better than Dirk Nowitski . Although I will get a Lot of dislike for putting Dirk at #4, Dwight has kept the Magic in the playoffs for 5 years running and you always know what you're gonna get out of him.
4. Dirk Nowitski - Dirk IMO is overated just of the performance in last years playoffs, It was magical, Absolutely ridiculous even. But still I can't forget about those 1st round Waxings at the hand of scrub teams.
5. Dwyane Wade - Tough to leave Mr. Wade out of the top 5 , He is a machine.
6. Kevin Durant - Amazing Scorer, He has about 4 or 5 more scoring titles left before he retires, and if he learns to be the leader he needs to be... The thunder will be a Finals, or at least Western Conference Finals Regular the next couple years
7. Carmelo Anthony - Can Carmelo put up 40 whenever he wants? I think he can, No matter how much He loses whenever he does that.
8. Derrick Rose - He definately took the #1 PG spot from Chris Paul last year by pretty much breaking his back carrying the bulls to the Eastern Conference Finals.
9. Chris Paul - There is no one in the entire NBA that can run an offense more effectively than CP3 . and you can't argue with his numbers year to year. Enough said.
10. Amar'e Stoudamire - The man can do it all. This pick was hard to decide on, so I don't really have much to say.
Remember this is an opinion, and that's all it can be.Comment
