Come one now... with the lockout and everything that's been happening. Lets us breath a little damn... Someone always has to mess a good moment up.

OKC didn't just play in the conference finals, losing to the eventual champions.

Lol. Sorry Jeebs, I was in a crabby mood this morning. With that being said, he should be putting up 50+ at the Rucker.

Did any of his teammates score anything (or should I say, had the chance to score anything)?

Yep. Looks like it was 70-66 after three quarters. Kevin had 38 at that point.

Seriously, dude being guarded by like 6'5 and shorter dudes.

KD is the leading scorer in the NBA

Pretty sure he should be scoring 50+ points, especially since it's a street ball game.

Those fans at these games really annoy the crap out of me. Rushing the court because he hit a few three's? Cool man.

What do you expect from a dangerous sharp shooter?

Re: Kevin Durant Unleashed the Fury at Rucker Park Last Night

I personally just enjoyed watching an awesome talent doing awesome things. Regular players aren't dropping four threes in a row (including one from 35 feet), regardless of how tall the three players crowding them are. I like basketball because it's fun to play and fun to watch. This was fun for me to watch.

I have to be honest, I heard Kevin Durant was going to be at Rucker last night, and I definitely did not expect him to drop 66. 35 sounded about right.

I respect your thoughts and I wasn't trying to paint this as a ground breaking story or anything. It's just, with the lockout running amok, I thought it'd be nice to post a cool vid. I like when crowds rush the court sometimes though. When Vince threw down his windmill alley up at the Gauchos, loved that. And when a basketball player drills four triples in two minutes, giving him 56 points, I've got no problem with showing some love. This clip would have been a lot less unappealing if it was just a stoic crowd watching Durant drop numbers because they all expected it. That mindset would be boring to me. The Fun Police would be forced to look into it.

                          I like basketball too, lol.

It was OK to me. Dude is a hundred times the caliber of any player on that court. I expect him to do that.

Not hating, just saying "big deal" is all. Oh well
