Re: Kevin Durant Unleashed the Fury at Rucker Park Last Night
Hardly doubt anyone is getting sensative.
You said something stupid and folks are calling you out on it. Hell, I'm still trying to figure out how did the word "Peasants" pop in your head out of any word you could've use?
Surprised you ain't just call them "Ghetto *****s" instead.
But hey, "it's just the internet"
I'll be sure to let my fellow peasants at the Goodman League know not to get excited when a Pro Basketball player(my bad, an "Above Average" one) comes on the court and hits 3-4 3-pointers in a row but just to simply clap their hands and yell out "Good job" and "Way to go!!"#RespectTheCultureComment

Ex's your actual view on the matter is fine w/ me...respectfully disagree but its fine..
but when you classify people as "peasants", your going to get this type of reaction. Me? whatever, I dont get too up or down over the internet lol but I always stay away from name calling....this isnt your first dance with the subject of "name calling" either...

-Not at all AllStar, unfortunately some peeps really did catch feelings like this guy below
I'm gonna call an idiot an idiot all day on the internet. Live with it. Ganbangers, terrorists, murderers, etc. etc. if there's a story or video or anything on the internet about them, I'm gonna call em out. Would I say that to their faces? Hell no. You have it all f'd up.
I was saying I'd say the same thing if I was with yall. You guys on OS, the guys who most I respect. Of course I wouldn't call someone an idiot to their face.
I wasn't the one who brought in the pedestal to this discussion btw bud.
Dudes are really that sensitive though, lol.
Catching feelings huh? Who has it all ****ed up now? I'm just agreeing with you, calling an idiot an idiot on the internet. It's easy stuff, it's just the internet like you say.
Gangbangers, terrorists and murderers? We're talking about a few folks having a good time at a local game here. I don't see the point in calling them anything but that.Last edited by trobinson97; 08-03-2011, 04:03 PM.PS: You guys are great.

Got nothin to do with ghetto/hood. It happens in the burbs too bud.

Re: Kevin Durant Unleashed the Fury at Rucker Park Last Night
I mean, are we really that sensitive? I guess so based on all of the responses. I don't apologize because that's what I would say around anyone watching the video with me in person. But I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone out there as I respect most of you, including da czar
After seeing that all I gotta say is wow! You know sometimes because I watch the NBA all the time I forget just how special these guys are. KD drops 50+ on NBA talent and that's amazing but what was really great to see in this video was the appreciation the crowd had for his talent.
They weren't saying "whatever its KD that's just what he does." They were giving him respect and love because the guy was doin it on THEIR court. He came out and put on a show that some of those people are going to talk about for a while.
It's great to see talent and individual performances like those respected for what they are. Put away all the lack of NBA talent and just look at the actual performance and you can see why they were excited. The guy dropped 60+ that's amazing and I guarantee if anyone else dropped that much they would be going crazy too. Because it was all about the feat itself not the talent he was playing against.Comment

I'm over it man, if you or anyone else got offended or didn't get offended, cool. IDC.
All I can say is I definitely don't look down on anyone and there is no pedastal here, so spare me. This type of stuff happens in the hood and in the burbs and I have the same opinion of it in both situations.Comment

Magic is a bumbling fool, I think that's been well documented.
Bigeast, you apparently have a hard time reading any of what I said in here and just seem upset that I called you a peasant.Comment
