Some people are saying he could only be out for a week or 2, conflicting reports as it was tweeted by Woj as severe but several others say it's not too bad. Either way his availability is probably of more concern, i'd rather have a hobbled Davis for a week or 2 during practice then a healthy Lamar lol

Hornets PR tweeted he'll be evaluated later in the week to determine his availability to practice with Team USA, he sprained it on Saturday and was told he'd be day to day to begin workouts so it's possible people jumped the gun on saying he'd be done

Let's hope Davis is better in time for training camp. No need to rush him back to an Olympic squad.

Is there any reason Greg Monroe is not on the team? He'd be much more ready than Anthony Davis would be IMHO.

And FWIW...I'd rather have David Lee on the Olympic team than Lamar Odom.

The only thing I'm worried about with Odom is his physical condition. If he's out of shape, I don't care how much experience he has, I don't want him on.

Now if he is in shape, then I don't give a damn about what he did to Dallas, if he can help win gold, then I'm on board.

David Lee would be cool, I'm not sure why he isn't in the pool. Might be his choice.

Lamar dogged it last year because he didn't get what he wanted.

Lamar dogged it last year because he didn't get what he wanted.

LaMarcus is injured. He had surgery (I think), which was why he didn't play this season. I do know he was injured (again).

Yeah it's because of what he did in 2010 during the World Championships. He was a great player for them and he endeared himself to Coach K. He loves Odom, in fact they cancelled a workout because they believe in Odom so much.. they don't even need to check to see if he's in shape. Smh.

Aldridge almost died and has a blood disease, he's out.

Monroe is cool, Lee/ZBO for whatever reason haven't participated for years, Cousins may still be an option?

He may still be hurt or rehabbing from injury.

Monty Williams said it's not anything near severe, just rolled it a bit. So even if he misses the USA training camp he may be able to go in the Summer Leagues for the NBA hopefully

Unless Davis himself WANTS to go and the team lets him.
