Damn, so the players committed financial suicide. ****, I've probably seen the last of the incomparable Tim Duncan. It has been an amazing 13 years, I'll probably cry during his retirement speech.

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion
A player who dont get recognize for everything he has done in this sport, becoming the best player to ever play his position, will just disappear from the NBA(whenever it returns) and to the casual fan whose constantly are on Lebron's junk ,it would be like he never even existed.Comment

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion
Well in my opinion the old system is better fit for balance. At least a market that was on the verge or drafted well could put together a good team. Under the proposed CBA I see parity amongst the bottom teams only. Some franchise are only extremely lucrative when their winning. So those few teams will gladly go into the luxury tax and that will be the added profit sharing. While all the other teams that aren't as lucrative will be forced to stay under the luxury tax to ensure they turn a profit. At the expense of fielding a competitive team. So in the end talent will bounce around the bottom 22 teams while only 8 teams will actual title chance. You looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion
“...
If the labor impasse isn’t resolved, Durant said he could sign a contract next week to play overseas. He’s weighing offers from Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel, Valencia in Spain and BBC Bayreuth in Germany. Any deal Durant signs would include an opt-out clause that allows him to return to the NBA as soon as the lockout ends.
“I’m right on the fence with playing overseas and I’m about to jump over,”. However as of now they are talking about just 2 games
