According to the AP, the meeting will end tonight, but it's not over now.

LMAO. Shocking news there. The meeting will end.

HEARD THIS: A nice dressed older white male left the hotel in a suit and some writers thought the meeting was over.

Reports of something may or may not have been eaten in the room today.

There's been "movement" but if they have been there for over 5 hours that's expected. As much as I HIGHLY, HIGHLY doubt the entire season will be saved I wonder why would they be meeting late into the night if both sides were not at least giving in more than they were yesterday.

This is why I hate CBA time and all the people involved most of the time. Maybe if they were meeting for 6 hours and counting and all this **** everyday or at least more than two times a week every two or three weeks back in June they wouldn't need to lock up in a damn room the absolute last possible day.

I know I keep falling for this but can they really meet for 6 1/2 hrs and not come out with a framework for a deal? There are only 5 issues: Mid Level, BRI, Amnesty Clause, Size of Cap and Revenue Sharing. 2 of those are practically resolved and they are 2 points apart on BRI.

You are about the 50th person to say that in this thread and thats not how these things work. Either they get done before a lockout or the last day before games or cancelled or months after games or cancelled. People need deadlines.

Oh believe me I know this works. I just hate it because it really doesn't HAVE to be that way it just generally does end up that way because of egos really.
