Someone needs to sneak a janitor or coffee man in there and get us the info on what's going on.

          Geez.......

Stern: "we remain very, very apart on all issues."
Stern: "We have a gulf that separates us."

Let's see how long the players can hold out with their demands.

This may be the last year I get season tickets. 2nd time in 15 yrs, they've lost games because of a dispute.

                  Another Stern quote:

Stern: "With every day that goes by, there will be further reductions on what's left of the season"
Players had to know owners and Stern weren't going to mess around.

Stand united in the unemployment line, trying to find another job that will pay nearly what they were offering to the Players Association.

Now we get to see them crawl to the owners as the owners start pulling things off of the table. Great job NBAPA... you've successfully shot yourself in the foot.

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Barganing Agreement Discussion

Despite a seven-hour meeting, the NBA has cancelled the first two weeks of the regular season.
Commissioner David Stern made the announcement Monday night after meeting with the NBA players' association in a last-ditch attempt to end the owner-initiated lockout and begin the 2011 season on time. ESPN

                          More Stern:

Stern says further negotiations have to "account for the losses we are incurring" by canceling games.

                            Makes sense to me.

51/49 or 50/50 are out the door.

I hope the players that aren't apart of the stupid stand united bullcrap come down hard on the PA.

These morons are saying stand united because they get endorsements and millions upon million a year. But the rest of the guys? They have to move and change and play in Europe or God forbid, China.

NBPA is just foolish, really stupid. They deserved to be screwed.
