Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion
i disagree with all you guys, why should the players take a bad offer just cause the owners have the leverage, i believe the players made enough concessions and they should get the 52% I don't buy tickets to see clay bennett's face. The owners are hell bent on having this hard cap, they are trying to make the luxury tax so high that teams won't go over the cap to pay the tax, not to mention they want don't want tax paying teams to use the exceptions and the sign trade which halts player movement, I believe if a player is a free agent he should be able to go to what ever team he wants...Comment

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion
I like the hard cap idea. It will make every team able to compete and create parity in the league. Every major support has it except baseball who has no cap and we watch the big payrolls win most of the time. I might feel differently if I wasnt a timberwolves fan.Comment

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion
As much as everyone involved is trying to change this, I feel that the majority of people support teams over players. Their are die hard Knick fans who bled blue and orange even when the bad times hit. The game is bigger than the individual players. Players need to get off their ego trip.Comment

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion
A random NBA fan wrote on Twitter a message directed at Heat owner Micky Arison.
"Fans provide all the money you're fighting over," wrote the fan.
"Honestly u r barking at the wrong owner," replied Arison on his Twitter feed.
Arison has been categorized by NBPA Executive Director Billy Hunter as part of a group of owners eager to reach a deal with the players.First off OMG @ "u r"!!
LOL, all jokes aside, you dont say this type of thing when Sterns preaching everyones on the same page...Comment

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion
Heat owner obviously wants to get back to playing, people come out to see his team. I wish Dan Gilbert would go on a twitter rant.
Best part of the whole thing.Last edited by DoubleJ13; 10-29-2011, 01:03 PM.Comment

Wouldn't surprise me if he claimed he was hacked or something, just like every other jackass who says something on twitter then thinks about it or is visited by the Angel of Stern as they say on PTI.Comment
