Some people still have it twisted...I think that guy above needs to re-write his post

.....if you're going to tweet, dont tweet against Cuban Arison Buss, Dolan, etc.. aka the guys who are making major money

Thats probably why he's even on twitter in the first place

Either way, those guys shouldnt have walked away from the table and they might've been able to get a point or two on the lux tax

Kash, FA can go where they want to go now...its just $$$$ that would hold them up, not it being their destination of choice

As it stands im sick of all of them, but I've not seen the players do one thing at all that make me realize they cared just to get something done like they've been putting off.

I was just at a party last night where a trivia contest for a few hundred bucks had the question of naming two current Bulls players and Derrick Rose couldn't be one of them....needless to say the so called "Big Bulls fan" couldn't name one player. So while there are a whole lot of people that support teams over players, there are just as many, if not more people that'll support players over teams or they're just showing up cause they're team is good at the time.
That actually terribly cripples the players' argument.

                    Just for me to understand.
The only thing between a deal and no deal is the 50/52 argument?

                    Are they ****ing kidding me?

Meet at 51 for gods damned sake and think about the guys who eventually make it possible to discuss this ****. The fans.

The players are not entrenched on that 52% BRI number; they just don't want to accept the 50/50 split before they even go into talks about the rest of the issues (hard cap, contract lengths, etc.) The 57% BRI they have had since the last CBA is their leverage on all the other stuff. They've gone down to 52% as a concession to the owners but the owners won't even talk until the 50/50 number is agreed upon from the outset.

There's a chance the NLRB can step in to help end this lockout but I think there's a chance we don't have an NBA season this year. It's all very sad.

I don't know if you've noticed yet, but none of THEM care about US.

My man, you are about a week late on the news. The rest of the issues are practically gone. Contract lengths were agreed to this week. Hard cap is off the table and the luxury tax negotiations are about 70% done. The only thing left to negotiate over the tax is whether tax teams can use the Bird and Mid level exceptions. Mid level exception is done. The issue is BRI and two suborn sides who both want to win. Also the agents and superstars are forcing Hunter to stay at 52%

The NLRB complaint. is a shot in the dark and practically every labor expert doesn't give the union much of a chance in winning that.

Detlef Schrempf came out and talked about some of the players living paycheck to paycheck.

I'm sorry, if ANY of the players who are in the National Basketball Association are living paycheck to paycheck, they are dumb.

                              Really dumb.
