Part of me wonders how strong of a role the certain owners are playing that want the players to "feel pain", it's as if their goal at this point is to wait until more games are canceled, then sign something. But on the other hand, if they're already THIS close, how serious could that threat be, especially if it's the players' insistence on 52%

2 more weeks gone. Here is where the fun begins. The mid level players will start looking at the numbers and wonder why the hell the union wont drop below 52. If they dont meet again within the next week, twitter will be flooded with comments from non superstar players complaining.

My theory...Hunter wants a win. He feels like he's dropped enough. He knows the owners arent going to 52%. He wants to take a stand here with the support of the superstars and agents. He's hoping that this impasse will force the owners to move up over 50, even if its only 51.

yea the non superstars will suffer. The players soon have to bend or the more they'll will wish for a restart as more games they miss..

Hunter said he and Fisher made it clear to Stern they wouldn't be able to sell 50-50 split to players along w/ the system changes.
