Until I hear from the mouth of Stern and the NBPA, I'm not believing that "no progress was made.

I just don't know how you can meet for over 14 hrs and not have any progress. They could have saved face at hour 10 and said "we talked for 10 hrs but weren't able to come to a compromise. We really tried." Most people would have been OK with that.

How can you get to hour 14 without any movement?

That's what I'm saying too... It's midnight, near it anyway... they have to be having somewhat serious discussions... there's no way that they wouldn't have cut it to 8-9 hrs and say "we seriously tried"...

Also it should be noted the only one who reported the "no progress" thing was a guy who has lost a crap ton of credibility last year and his sources.

                  Ridiculous

Unless they plan on sneaking out of the hotel because they dont want to answer questions right away

                  This is flat out ridiculous

Damn, seriously? It's well after 1 am on the East Coast and these dudes are still meeting? I'm guessing they brought Charlie V and Joakim in to occupy Mr Garnett's attention.

They can't possibly meet this long without progress. At this point someone might need to go do a status check and make sure they didn't massacre each other.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

At this point, they may as well stay in until the late morning.

A few of the players stop by the office from time to time. Had dinner with 2 of them at the Ale House the other night as a matter of fact...one of the perks of the job
